Review of Spanking Bench Confessionals by Cleo Taurus

I hope y'all are having a FABILICIOUS Hump Day! Speaking of hump day, I am so thrilled to be doing a review for Spanking Bench Confessional by Cleo Taurus! This book was stunning, hot, emotional, steamy...well you get my drift. This book was giving to me in exchange for a HONTEST review.

Blurb:

Master of discipline, Preacher, has enjoyed an endless line of subs begging for his special brand of punishment. Every moment of control is like ambrosia until the day he meets the one woman who would need him most.

Rose is a woman with dark secrets until the seams of her chaotic lifestyle begin to slowly fall apart. Keeping everything bottled up is merely a survival tactic until she meets the one man who refuses to accept her excuses.

Will her natural submissive nature allow Preacher to help her overcome her past? Or will she run away as she has always done, leaving her empty and full of regret for the rest of her life?

MY REVIEW:
I give this a FOUR IN A HALF STARS OUT OF FIVE!! I fell so hard for Preacher. I immediately got a picture of this big buff, drop dead gorgeous hunk of baldness and just nearly sighed with absolute pleasure just from the image. When I read the description of him and I knew he would be my very next book boyfriend. He is intense but has such a tender streak that made me melt. Rose was the type of woman I could relate to. She is strong willed with a gentle soul but who needs to let her emotions flow once in a while. She lets things build up to a point that she needs Preacher's discipline to let it all out. And boy does he do it in a way that even I want to have a taste of his dark treatment. He knows the best way to letting things go is through a good, sometimes hard spanking. I found myself totally consumed in this short story and was immensely pleased with it. I truly hope to see more in this new series by talented author Cleo Taurus. I recommend this and think once you pick this short read up you will be HOOKED on Preacher too. Just make sure you have a bottle of ice water next to you just to be on the safe side. *WINK*

This is my absolute HONEST review and I hope you go with my recommendation to check this incredible short story out. Happy Hump Day!

Review of Never Deal With Dragons by Lorenda Christensen

I hope everyone has had a good weekend. I am getting ready to have a birthday party for my son who is turning 10 today. But before I get ready for that, I just HAD to get my review up for all you fine readers. Today I am reviewing a paranormal romance featuring sexy dragon shifters and feisty heroines. Never Deal with Dragons by Lorenda Christensen was a real treat for me and I hope you follow my recommendation and pick up this delightfully fun and sexy book.

Blurb:
Consoling a sobbing dragon and serving pig buffets are just part of the job for Myrna Banks. Working for a mediation firm, it's her job to get humans compensated for damages caused by the dragons who now rule. But her "typical" day is interrupted by Trian Chobardan, an old flame who sneaked out of her bed two years ago, taking her heart and a handful of classified documents with him.
Myrna would love to show Trian the door, but he's been sent by North America's reigning dragon lord for help negotiating a truce with a powerful rival to avert war. Myrna agrees to help, even though she'll be stuck with Trian as a partner.
As the two work together, Myrna finds Trian to be surprisingly supportive—and still irresistibly attractive. Though her brain tells her not to forget his betrayal, her body feels differently. When they learn the enemy dragon lord is planning something no one could have imagined, Myrna has to learn who she can trust before she loses not only her heart, but her life.

My Review:

I rated this baby a FIVE out of FIVE Stars! I LOVE shifter romances and this one had dragon shifters. SWEET! I enjoyed so much reading about Myrna and Trian. They had such great chemistry and were both amusing in their own way and very passionate. I found myself chuckling, and sighing, and even close to tears throughout this book. It was delightfully good and so well written. It had consistency, the story itself flowed well and definitely kept me both, intrigued and delighted. The sex was out-of-this-world hot and will make anyone pleased to have picked up a copy of this book. I hope to see more work from Lorenda Christensen, especially if they contain hot Dragon shifters. This MUST go on your TBR pile!

Well there you go my beautiful peeps. I hope you give Lorenda Christensen a chance and pick up a copy of Never Deal with Dragons for yourself and get lost in the world of dragon shifters. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Review of My Decadent Demon by Nikita Jakz and Alicia Dawn

Happy Thursday! Today I am pleased to say I am reviewing a book so good and wonderful that it just makes me sigh whenever I think of it, written by a couple of new and VERY talented authors, Nikita Jakz and Alicia Dawn. These ladies are FABILICIOUS in their style of writing and had me very glad to have read their very fine book.

Blurb:
Seraphina Orielle, an angel of divine fire and light, was also an oracle of foresight. Considered adolescent among her peers, she had yet to master her gift of precognition when her first vision came to pass; a captivating male whose destiny was intimately intertwined with her own. Yet he was not of angelic design. In fact, he was very far from it. Tragically, by the time Sera discovered this pivotal detail, he had already attained ownership of her heart.
But not her ability to flee…
A hundred years later and Cole Asteroth does whatever the hell he wants. When he’s not busy, that is, with ‘dirty deeds, done dirt cheap’ for his master. Ornery and sarcastic, he gets his kicks wreaking havoc in the human realm. Oh, and making very un-angelic women beg for his touch. Life is good…
Until fate catches up with him.
A few weak moments, one too many innocent visitations and the two are entangled all over again. But things are much more complicated now. And Cole no longer possesses much in the way of faith and forgiveness.
As the estranged lovers struggle with what path to take, they quickly discover that destiny, too, is a reluctant second chance provider. As outside resistance and decadent captivity ensues, can their situation get any more exasperating?

My Review:
I gave this book a FOUR AND A HALF STARS! This was such a unique and well written story with very likeable characters, a easy to follow storyline, and just plenty of smoking hot passion, with a sprinkle of humor. I was drawn to both Cole and Seraphina and their story from the beginning and I was both thrilled with the turn of events within the story and sad to see it end. Even though this was not a long read, it was still quite good and I didn't feel like anything was left unsaid or left out. I found this story both fun and sweet and was just plain an enjoyable read. I will definitely be keeping my eyes out for more stories from Nikita Jakz and Alicia Dawn.

I truly hope that this review was helpful and will maybe make YOU check out these new authors and their wonderful book, My Decadent Demon. May you have a great day and find many great reads.

Review of Witch Bound by Eleri Stone

Afternoon y'all! I am so glad to be back to writing up some reviews and to get away from my crazy life. Today I am reviewing Witch Bound by Eleri Stone. A paranormal romance featuring witches, shape-shifters, danger, family duty and of course, romance.

Blurb:

Book two of Twilight of the Gods

Raquel Lindgren knows what her future holds. An arranged marriage. A new home in Ragnarok, Iowa, with another clan of refugees from Asgard. She should be happy. But there's a mental block preventing her from tapping in to her true abilities as a witch. And she's more attracted to the best man than she is to the groom…

Fen can't believe he's falling for his best friend's future wife. As a hound, a wolf shifter, his duty lies with the pack. He's seen too many hounds destroyed by love, and he's sworn never to take a mate, never to have children of his own. He can't deny his desire for Raquel, but she deserves more than he can offer her.

Raquel's been raised to trust in magic, her clan and her destiny. But when a vengeful demon threatens to break out of Asgard and destroy the clan, Raquel learns she must trust in love if she is to take the future into her own hands.

My Review:
As you read, this is the second book of Twilight of the Gods and even though I haven't read the first one, I thought this book was pretty darn good. I gave this a 3 and a half STARS. I really enjoyed the backstory, the characters, and the chemistry. It was well-written and easy to follow. I really thought the names were different and unique, like Raquel and Fen but for this being a paranormal romance, the names fit perfectly. I enjoyed watching these two fall in love and struggle with the fact that Raquel was marrying Fen's best friend yet when passion ignites between these two, they do whatever they can to be together and fight the demon that threatens their family, friends, and most of all, each other. A very good second book. I am certainly going to be checking out the first book and I hope there will be a third as well. Eleri Stone is a author you definitely want to keep an eye out for.

I hope you found this review helpful and hope that maybe you will check out this book and author. Have a great day!
