Not willing to accept the line that divides them, Anna sets out to bring Dean back to her. Her determination and faith in their future puts her on the tracks of danger, and he is the only one who can save her.

MY REVIEW:

Home Is Where You Are was an amazingly beautiful, touching story. Its heartfelt, sexy, and inspirational. I LOVED Dean and Anna! These two love birds made the perfect young couple. Counting on each other, and just so emotionally wrapped around one another. I didn't think the synopsis really fit the book. It was somehow....less then what I expected and, honestly, I am glad for it. I loved how this book came together. Its wonderfully written with a compelling storyline and characters that just added more...umph to the story.

Dean is a young man who ran away from an abusive situation. He has been living on the street for some time and he works where he can to make some money while he searches for his long lost sister. I found Dean to be an extremely great character. He is beyond good looking, caring, determined, and so very smart. Anna is the follow-the-rules type of gal. She volunteers all over the place, from Habitat for Humanity, to volunteering at the local soup kitchen as she sends out college applications. That is where she meets Dean and soon she is breaking her own rules to get to know him.

As Dean and Anna get closer, danger lurks on the streets and its up to Dean to make sure Anna is safe. In the end Dean finds exactly what he was looking for including something he never expected. Home Is Where You Are will make you sigh, cry, and cheer as Anna and Dean become more then just friends to something beautiful and heartfelt. This story went way beyond my imaginings and just came across as one of the best written stories this year. That is why I give this an AMAZING FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS! If you like YA romance that is touching and sexy, then Home Is Where You Are is the perfect book for you.

Saving Their Princess Cover Reveal!!

Blurb: Sabine Babineaux, daughter to the mayor of New Orleans and waitress at The Three Princesses bar, has her life upended after a late night at work. Kidnapped, Sabine is determined to escape, but once she’s free her fight has only just begun.
Stuart Renwick and Kyle Novak, detectives with New Orleans police department, are assigned a kidnapping case with multiple victims. However, when one of the missing women, Sabine Babineaux, is practically dropped in their lap, everything they know about being detectives is tossed by the wayside.
Now, in a race against time to find out who the kidnapper is, and prevent anyone else being snatched, Sabine, Stuart, and Kyle must work together.
Sparks fly, between the three of them, but will it be their downfall?
With someone watching them, tragedy strikes when they least expect it. Will Sabine survive long enough to explore her feelings for both detectives? Or will Stuart and Kyle fall at the hand of her kidnapper?

Excerpt: The cab came to a stop some time later and she sat up. The world spun on its axis. The sound of bees buzzing filled her ears as she broke out in a cold sweat and she began to shake violently. Sabine tried in vain to make her body cooperate with her, but it was a no go. Her brain was muddled and nothing made sense anymore. Not even her body would oblige her and move. “Where am I?” Sabine whispered, licking her lips.
“The lady is right here,” the cabbie said, opening the door. “She bleeding and wearing next to nothing.”
A thread of embarrassment slid through her, but as quickly as it was there, it was gone. “Help me,” she croaked. The world around her was slowly floating away. No matter how much she tried to keep her eyes open, she couldn’t gather the strength needed to do so. “I…can’t…go…back.” Unconsciousness, blissful yet scary, drifted around her, cradling her into a void of nothingness.
“No you don’t, sweetheart.” A gruff voice called to her, drawing her out of the darkness. “Come back to us.”
Sabine’s eyes fluttered open, then shut again. She didn’t want to open her eyes. The darkness was safe.  It was comfortable there. There was no pain. No cages. Freedom lurked in the darkness.
“Ambulance is on the way,” another male said. His voice was an octave higher than the penetrating baritone of the first man. “It’s our kidnapping victim.”
Congratulations, you win the booby prize.
“Yeah it is,” person one said. “When did you say that ambulance would be here?” In the distance she could hear the warble of noise. Finally she could sleep. “Hey now.” The man’s rough palm patted her cheek. “Wake up, sweetheart. Stay with us.”
Sabine groaned and turned away from him.
“They’re both through and throughs, Stuart, and she’s lost a good amount of blood.”
So man one did have a name. Stuart. His name was both sexy and bold, invoking delicious images of the man holding her hand. When did he take my hand? How come I can’t remember how I got here?
“Damn it,” he cursed. “If they don’t hurry their asses up, we’re going to lose our victim. Call them back Kyle and tell them to double time it.”
Kyle. His name was just as delectable as Stuart’s. I wonder what he looks like. A part of her was using anything she could think of to stay right there, even though she could feel the darkness surrounding her.
Sabine groaned as she was jostled around. The prick of a needle in her arm caused her to whimper. “Stop.” With a weak gesture she tried to push them away and a hand appeared in hers, squeezing it.
“You gave me a scare girl,” Stuart said close to her ear. “Stay with Kyle and I. Don’t try going anywhere again.” What was he talking about? “Is she ready?”
“Yes, we’re loading her up now. Are you following?”
Sabine half listened to the conversation around her, trying to stay with Stuart like he asked her to do.
“I’m riding with you. My partner will give you the escort.” The soft cushion she lay on lifted up momentarily, jostling her around, then slid into something. In no time they were rolling. “Sabine, we’re going to get you fixed up. I promise.”
She muttered something and a sharp burning sensation raced up her arm, then everything inside of her mellowed out, relaxing her completely. Oh hell yeah, that’s the good stuff. Instead of fighting the darkness she went with it. It was light and peaceful. The pain that radiated through her whole body relented and she could finally breathe without feeling as though her chest was being squeezed to death. Just a little nap and then I’ll tell them everything. The heavy darkness wrapped its tendrils around her and she fell into the deepest sleep she’d had in weeks.

Review of Golden Perspective by Lynn B. Davidson

BLURB:

Evie and Tyler were captured as slaves and forced into intimacy by the captors. As time went by, they found solace and love together, but when they miraculously escape, Tyler must finally tell Evie the truth. He is a prince on his planet, and marriage with an Earth woman is unacceptable. He loves her, but he has to put the needs of his people first. Heartbroken, she understands.
Evie begins a new life on this alien planet, where she meets the gorgeous and loyal Dylan. Dylan’s single-minded pursuit and devotion convinces her that they can overcome their cultural differences, and love once again is possible. Tyler sees Evie falling in love again, and realizes nothing is more important than loving Evie.
Now he must win not one, but two hearts. Can Evie overcome her fears and learn to love these two men, and embrace the vibrant and sexual culture that would have all three of them loving one another?

MY REVIEW:

Golden Perspective is the 2nd book in Lynn B. Davidson's Zehave Gold Series. I found this story to be unique, sexy, all-consuming, with drool-worthy aliens and the one woman that captured their hearts. The sex scenes were both heated and kinky. The characters are fun and each have different personalities that compliment each other really nicely.

Firs we have the beautiful, tall Evie who is gorgeous but doesn't really believe she is. She was kidnapped along with Tyler and since they were cell mates, they learned to rely on each other and soon fell in love. Evie has the kind of determination that is courageous and awe-inspiring. I like her dedication to her friends and how she makes a wonderful nurse for those that got injured when all the prisoners were rescued. We also have Tyler a sexy alien prince who doesn't think he can have Evie so he ends up breaking things off when everyone is rescued. But he never once stopped loving or caring for the spirited Evie. I loved his unique sense of humor and his honor, as well as his drool worthy body. I also like how dedicated he is to his people and especially to the love of his life. Last but not least, we have the sexy, flirtatious Dylan. He is instantly drawn to Evie from the moment he meets her at his friend's house and wants Evie in his arms, his bed, and his heart. He is sweet, charming, understanding and just so HOT! When you put these three characters together, sparks fly and passion soars high.

I can't believe how addictive this series is. I like the similarities that the aliens and their planet have compared to earth and how sensual everything is with the men. I like seeing a bit of M/M action and then when we add a female, things REALLY get kinky. I found Golden Perspective to be a fast paced, super sexy read. That's why I gave it an outstanding FOUR AND A HALF OUT OF FIVE STARS. Looking for your newest romance with hot sex, 2 sex-on-a-stick males, with a little bit of  Sci-Fi and a bit of M/M action thrown in the mix? Then Golden Perspective is the book for you, although I HIGHLY suggest you pick up Golden Change to keep everything in order.

ARC Review of Isabella's Submission by Caitlyn O' Leary

BLURB:

A dedicated teacher of homeless children, Isabella Camarena’s life is interrupted by a midnight call threatening her students. Isabella speeds across state to save a family of kidnapped migrant farm workers, but is soon in over her head helping a family lost to the world of human trafficking.
During an undercover assignment at Isabella’s school, former Special Forces Army Rangers Leif Johansen and Caleb Samuels met Isabella. After the assignment ends, they continue volunteering there, to pursue a relationship with Isabella, only to discover she’s missing.
After a harrowing rescue, Leif and Caleb bring Isabella home with them to recuperate. She reluctantly agrees so that she can stay close to the rescued children.
Amid the struggle to ensure the safety of the families, Leif and Caleb are determined to win Isabella’s heart. Despite her fierce independence, Isabella is naïve to the ways in which they want to love her. Can these former Rangers help Isabella embrace her submissive nature?

MY REVIEW:

Isabella's Submission is the fourth book in Caitlyn O' Leary's Fate Harbor Series and is one of my FAVORITES so far. There is a lot of great things that Mrs O' Leary had to offer in this book: Suspense, light humor, not one but TWO smoking hot men, swoon-worthy romance, and best of all, HOT sex featuring some of my favorite things from BDSM.

I was instantly drawn into Isabella's Submission from the first few sentences. I really liked Isabella. She is strong, reliable, independent, sexy, sweet, and has the most passionate motivation when it comes to her students. When things get ugly from some of her students coming up missing and getting kidnapped, she immediately takes action and rescues some of the kids. When she becomes injured and sick, its sexy Army rangers, Leif and Caleb who comes to her aid. They immediately bring her home to Fate Harbor and begin their sexy seduction and introduction into the dark and sensual world of D/s relationship. Leif is the true Dom. He is tall, sexy, intimidating as hell, but has a VERY protective nature that is both enduring and caused me to melt. Caleb is the peacemaker and charmer of the two men. He is also tall, funny, charming, and just irresistible.

In this romance, there wasn't a single dull moment. From danger to passion, action, and seduction, I seen it ALL in Isabella's Submission. I love a story that I can't put down. I gobbled this story up waaaaay to fast in my opinion and was both elated and sad to see it end. For this reason I give this an AMAZING FIVE OUT OF FIVE SHOOTING STARS!! The story is rich and hot, with the perfect blend of suspense and some seriously HOT HOT HOT sex! I am beyond happy with this story and am eagerly awaiting the next Fate Harbor treasure.

Review of Hell On Heels by Robyn Peterman

BLURB:

Where does a Demon go when she gets deported from Hell?

Kentucky. Eden, Kentucky to be more specific—where nothing is exactly as it seems.
My name is Dixie. I’m a Demon—a lousy Demon. I’m a twenty-one year old virgin and I have a battery operated boyfriend. My magic is iffy at best and downright dangerous at worst. Leaving Hell to represent my race is not high on my list of things to do.

Hell was exact. Hell was simple. All I want to do is get to home base with the hotter than Hades Demon of my dreams and work on my dark side so Satan, my dad, will get off my ass.

Instead I end up in Kentucky looking for the Balance of Chaos, avoiding pole dancing classes with Mother Nature and finding out my invisible friend is a silver skinned destructive weather pattern.

And if that isn’t craptastic enough, the damn Sword of Death is missing again and who ever has it wants the King of the Underworld dead. Seriously.

With new powers emerging daily, keeping my Demon side, horniness and general disgust under wraps doesn’t make it any easier to fit in with the humans. Thankfully my priorities are in line; get laid…save world…try not to blow up kitchen appliances…and get laid again. I was ready to rumble.
All I want to do is go back to Hell, but with the balance of good and evil in my hands, I’m stuck in the garden of Eden. Oh well, what the Hell. Someone has to save the world before there’s no world left to save. Might as well be me.

MY REVIEW:

Robyn Peterman does it again! She created another hilarious, fun, snarky romance that left me doubled over with laughter and just immensely pleased. With a Robyn Peterman book you can expect the unexpected, and that is just beyond awesome.

I really loved getting to know Dixie more through the third book in The Hot Damned Series. We first met her in book 2, Fashionably Dead Down Under and I just wanted so bad to be friends with her. She is surprisingly  sweet for a Demon and has the kindest soul. I love her personality and her quirky ways and her friends are just as amazing and sweet, yet highly destructive. I loved watching Dixie flourish and fall in love with her soulmate and I so enjoyed watching her many adventures as her powers grow to amazing heights. I am absolutely in LUST with Hayden. I love the fact he has been waiting so long for Dixie and I just love how good he is to her. He is incredibly good looking and I found his cockiness hot. The scenes between Dixie and Hayden were beyond yummy! I found myself sighing dreamily and fanning myself. I could go on and on about the characters of Hell On Heels but I think I will stop before I totally give everything a way *wink*.

I can't tell you enough how much I loved this book and how much I am looking forward to the next book. I am amazed with the creative juices that flow from Robyn Peterman. Her work is fun, sassy, snarky, and the characters unforgettable and the story imaginative and totally creative. Her Hot Damned books got so much humor and hysterical adventures that I nearly wet myself and had to stop a few times just to catch my breath. Yes, its THAT good! That is why I give Hell On Heels a whopping FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS! If I could, I would give this a 10! If you like your paranormal romance with lots of laughs, plenty of adventure and sensual, sexy passion, then Hell On Heels is the book for you.

ARC Review of Sasha's Temptation by Silke Ming

BLURB:

Sasha Santorelli’s wealthy friends take her to a swanky bar to celebrate her 46th birthday. There she meets Jack Hammer, a twenty-five-year-old dancer who performs for her, and it is clear that they are taken with each other. As a prank, the friends pay Jack to spend a week with her in her waterfront condo, and although it is clear that they are both interested in each other, there is no sex, but she finds Jack loving and caring.
On day seven of Jack’s visit, she comes down with a horrible migraine, and he has just the remedy for it. Hot, hot sex! This begins their full-fledged relationship, but Sasha is insecure because of their age difference. Jack tells her age is only a number, and she becomes more confident. Jack receives a position at a prestigious accounting firm and moves in with Sasha, much to the chagrin of her wealthy friends.

MY REVIEW:

Even though Silke Ming has written several stories through Bookstrand, Sasha's Temptation is the first one I have read of her work.  This isn't the first romance I read featuring an older woman and a younger man, but it is the first one I actually enjoyed. I liked the chemistry between Jack and Sasha, and I enjoyed watching a younger man be more in control of a older woman in the bedroom. The story is unique, charming, with some wonderfully humorous friends, and some seriously sexy scenes. The characters were well-defined and some were downright fun.

Sasha just turned 46 and her friends decided to take her out for her birthday to a bar where she meets the hot young dancer, Jack. He is 25 and is a gorgeous young male specimen, that seems to be instantly attracted to the older, yet VERY sexy woman that is Sasha Santorelli. We got to meet some of the other Widows of "The Five Widows", and they are just as fun, and snarky, and just care about each other. The best friends take it upon themselves to set up Jack and Sasha for a week together and boy, what a week it was!

My only real complaint about this story was I felt like there was a few repetitive motions in the book that was used quite a bit in the book. Like Jack calling Sasha, then him going to Sasha at night and leaving in the morning and repeat. I  felt the general story was great and it was both sensual and delightful. There was LOTS of great sex scenes but I would of liked to have seen the couple together more outside of Sasha's place and the bedroom.

After some contemplation, I rated Sasha's Temptation a THREE OUT OF FIVE STARS. I liked the characters, the HOT sex, and the chemistry and dynamic of the story. After reading this book, I am definitely interested in other books by Silke Ming and am looking forward to exploring her romances.

Synopsis

There is a new Alpha Wolf in town, and she is about to change everything. Mena had all she wanted in life: a nice house, money, a successful husband who treated her like a queen. That was, until she found out her marriage was all a lie, and things she never thought could exist, did. Vampires are real. Werewolves are real. And Mena is not human anymore.

MY REVIEW:

Accepting the Moon is the Prequel to K.S. Haigwood's newest Series, Moonrising. Its a very good start to the series. I was instantly drawn to Mena and her predicament with being the new Alpha. K.S.'s books are ALWAYS amazing and this one wasn't any different. Its fast paced with some downright interesting and sexy characters, with a wonderful dialogue, fantastical paranormal elements, and is VERY easy to get into and enjoy.

Some interesting characters that we get to meet in Accepting the Moon is Mena the new Alpha wolf, Phoenix the leader of the vampire clan, and his second in command, Jaxon. From beginning to end this book was a treasure and an enjoyable book to read. We got to see one adventure after another in such a short period of time and I just thought everything was well put together.

With everything said, I give this book an AMAZING FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS! It was a sensational read with lots to love about this book. Its a page-turner, and I think this new series will be a great hit! I am looking forward to the first book in this new series and to see where K.S. Haigwood will take us next.
