ARC Review - Endless Possibilities (Part 2) Call of the Heart by Silke Ming

BLURB:

[Ménage and More: Erotic Ménage a Trois Romance, M/M/F, with M/M, bondage, food play, sex toys, HEA]
When Skye and Rory relocate to Anchorage to join Charlie Higgins, life starts anew for the three lovers. Charlie’s career as an architect soars, and with Margie Pemberton’s help, Rory becomes a success in the art world. Margie is the wealthy wife of Charlie’s boss, but she shows an unusual amount of interest in Rory which does not sit well with Skye and Charlie. They think she is a cougar whose sole interest is getting Rory into her bed.
Charlie sets out to investigate Margie and in a conversation with his father back in Cherry Hill, what Charlie learns shocks him. He confronts Margie with what he has learned, and finds out that her reasons for helping Rory are quite the opposite from what he believes. Rory is becoming reckless in the relationship, bringing friction in the household, but a few words from Charlie sets him back on the right path.

MY REVIEW:

Call of the Heart happens to be Part 2 of Silke Ming's Endless Possibilities story. The heat level in Part 2 is even more sensual and erotic and HOT than Part 1. The story continues with the three lovers as they were relocated to Anchorage. At first things are great between the lovers, but soon things are set into motion that brings out the bad and as we read along, we wonder if Skye, Rory, and Charlie can keep their relationship intact and strong.

The conflict that goes down in Part 2 keeps us readers on our toes. We wonder at times if things are going to work out and yet we are amazed at the power behind their love for one another. The sex and chemistry is even more consuming and erotic than in the first book. I loved how intense some of the scenes were. I found myself needing breaks in between to cool off and to slow my heart. Its the BEST feeling! I actually think Call of the Heart maybe my favorite. The tension is thick, the story compelling, and is just written well.

Endless Possibilities Call of the Heart is SO GOOD, I felt it deserved the FULL FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I enjoyed this story since Part 1 and am even more happy and content with Part 2. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Netgalley ARC Review - Wrong Number Right Guy by Elle Casey

BLURB:

When a mysterious text message summons May Wexler to a biker bar in downtown New Orleans, she knows something is very wrong. Her sister has sent out an SOS, but when May gets there, she’s nowhere to be found and May is the one in trouble—she’s wearing pink espadrilles, she’s got a Chihuahua in her purse, and she’s in the middle of a shootout.

After tall, muscular Ozzie comes to her rescue, May has no choice but to follow him to safety. At the headquarters of his private security firm, the Bourbon Street Boys, she finds a refuge for the night—and the offer of a job. But it’s not long before a gun-toting stalker isn’t the only complication in May’s life: the more time she spends with Ozzie, the less she can deny that they’ve got some serious chemistry. A wrong number got her into this mess…Will it also get her the right guy?

MY REVIEW:

Recently, I read some reviews about this book, and I was kind of stunned to see a number of them weren't happy with this book. Now this is my first book I have read by Elle Casey and with her being a "new to me" author, and I was worried that it wouldn't be enjoyable. Yet it was not only enjoyable but down right fun! I laughed at May's dog, and auto-correct messages from her sister. I giggled at what May first thought of Ozzie's beard and I just thoroughly liked the whole story. The characters are amazingly entertaining and the tension between Ozzie and May is strong and sexy.

It has been a while since I found a book that had me laughing and sighing with happiness from beginning to end. This story to me, was written really well and I think will keep readers on their toes and giggling from beginning to end.

I had to give this book a SHINNING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I truly loved it and think it deserves the five stars. Its uproariously fun and super sexy at the same time. Readers will LOVE the combination of humor and romance.

Netgalley ARC Review - Claimed By The Warrior by Joss Wood

BLURB:

Bad boy Jed Hamilton is ex-special Forces and a current undercover recovery agent who’s mentally and physically tough, a lone wolf and, above all, violently allergic to commitment, permanence, and anything wedding related.

So when he learns, in the very sexy McKenna Dixon’s bridal salon, that his younger sister is getting married and wants him to be her “man of honor”, Jed wishes he was anywhere but in Cape Town. Especially now that he’ll be spending more time around the one woman who makes him consider perilous phrases like “what if” and “maybe”…

McKenna Dixon loves bad boys, but her past experience with the species has led to nothing but pain and heartbreak. Jed Hamilton is exactly the type of man she should avoid, but when a nasty incident threatens her and her daughter, Jed immediately appoints himself as their protector, even though it’s not a part of his job description.

McKenna is determined not to allow another bad boy to flip her life inside out, and Jed is determined to retain his bachelor status and to keep travelling and working. But, as they both discover, love does its best work when they are busy making other plans…

MY REVIEW:

Claimed by the Warrior by Joss Wood is scrumptious, fun, sexy as can be, and just a real good read. I found myself giggling in some places and sighing with pleasure in other. The characters are so dang interesting and the storyline is written to perfection. The cover alone draws the eye of the reader, especially when its a female reader.

The moment Dixon meets sexy bad boy, Jed, her girlie bits wake up and take notice, and as she tries to control herself, the sparks fly even more and soon the passion is too much for these two to fight. The fact that author Wood puts a bit of humor in the story just makes it that much more enjoyable to me. When I can find myself laughing throughout the story, it definitely makes my day.

Claimed by the Warrior gets a SOLID FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Its a good time filled with steamy sex, witty comebacks, and sassy and loving characters. You definitely want to check this book out!

ARC Review - Sins of Long Ago by Naomi Bellina

BLURB:

A curse haunts her, a predator is stalking him and his pack. Vincent doesn’t need a woman in his life, and Genevieve is doomed to go insane if she falls in love. When danger brings them together, they find that desire demands satisfaction. But first they have to find a way to break the curse and catch a killer! Filled with passion, action, and suspense, Sins of Long Ago by Naomi Bellina is a welcome addition to her paranormal romance series, Nocturne.

Leading his pack of werewolves keeps Vincent plenty busy, and now with a predator out to harm them, life is more perilous than ever. The last thing he needs is a woman to complicate matters, especially one who sets his body and soul on fire. She’s a human and a witch—totally the wrong woman for him. Even if he could take a mate for his own, he refuses to put her in the danger his life has become. No way can they ever be together. Werewolf-style love is fine anyway. No permanent partner, no bullshit, no heartache.

Genevieve has never known true love. Cursed by an enraged woman long ago, females in her family are doomed to go insane if they fall in love. Life has been fine without a man around—until a hot werewolf drops in and captures her heart. Though they have plenty of obstacles to overcome, Gen knows they can work past them. Tell that to Vincent, as he struggles with old pack rules about love, sex, and consorting with humans.

As Vincent searches for a killer, deals with death among his own, and tries to keep his hands off Gen, she attempts to end her family curse. Together, they must find a way to break free from the sins of long ago.

MY REVIEW:

What can I say about Sins of Long Ago by Naomi Bellina....WOW...just WOW! This book was a real page turner. It was exciting, spicy, sexy, and freaking AWESOME as hell! Its splendidly written and makes an excellent read.

I really liked the characters, both main and secondary. Everything about this story was interesting, from the shifters, witches, curses, and plot. Vincent makes one hell of a sexy and unpredictable hero while Gen is smart fun and has a determination like no other to stop the curse that was put on her family. The sexual tension between these two crackles. Sparks fly with every touch and the sex is freaking SCORCHING!

Naomi Bellina blew me away with this story, so its with great pleasure that I give this book a FIVE SHOOTING STARS! From start to finish this book will keep your attention and have you begging for more.

BLURB:

A Wounded Temptress
Angelina Rugiero loved Lorenzo Delgado with a budding woman’s passion, until he broke her heart. Now she has the life she always dreamed of with another man, or so she thought.
A Determined Man

As Angel goes home to Miami one last time, Lorenzo realizes this is his opportunity to prove his love. Can they have the life they’d always wanted together, or will a man bent on revenge destroy their happily ever after before it begins?

MY REVIEW:

This is a BRAND new book in a BRAND new series by the talented Elle Boon, and what a WONDERFULLY written story it was indeed! Miami Inferno happens to be the first contemporary romance Miss Boon has written and I have to say she did a truly phenomenal job with it. The characters are fun and sexy. The hero, Lorenzo is an alpha male any red blooded woman would fall for and Angelina is a sassy, confidant woman that many of us ladies wish we could be. The plot is simple but dang it works for this book!

We get some seriously mouthwatering good sex in Miami Inferno and I think we even get a glimpse at who the second book will be about...(hint hint) by the time the book ends.

I gave Miami Inferno a CAN-I-HAVE-MORE-PLEASE FOUR AND A HALF SHOOTING STARS! This book blew me away. I loved everything about it...and I mean EVERYTHING. Now...if only I can convince Miss Boon to put me in a story with my very own HOT Cuban, than I would be satisfied, in more ways then one.

Excerpt

With everyone thinking I was angry, I was taking a wild guess that it would be at least thirty minutes before anyone realized I was gone. That was a good head start. From the vague vibe I was feeling from Jess and the other traitors, I was looking at covering a distance of about four miles. I ran that nearly every morning, and the time it took to get there would allow my wolf and me time to figure out what we were going to do when we got there.

Cutting the bitch was what my wolf wanted to do, and I couldn't honestly say that I wasn't on board with that plan, but I was smart enough to know that I couldn't take on eight werewolves on my own. I would have to find their hideout and come back with my pack. Bringing Phoenix and his clan to watch my back in case any of my wolves were really on Jessica's side was a smart thing to do, so I would let them come, too, not that I would really get a choice in the matter; I doubted he would stay behind even if I begged him to.

A loud clatter had my head whipping around to look behind me again. An aluminum trash can lay on its side, its contents spilling into the street. A tabby cat peeked around the edge of the torn trash bag and I exhaled in relief. I was a sad case, indeed. I laughed at myself. I was not used to being the monster.

"I aim to change that, Mena."

I rolled my eyes at my wolf. "You just be you and let me be me and we'll get along just fine."

Soft laughter filled my head and I had to smile. I had to admit that I liked her, regardless of how much trouble she was causing me with Phoenix. At least we had come to a compromise. I didn't know how well said compromise was going to work out, or even if it would at all, but I was willing to try. Everyone deserved a shot at happiness, even with as insane as our case may be.

As I turned my head back around to continue on my journey, I ran smack-dab into the hard chest of a man. He was in shadow, so I couldn't see his face. Stumbling back, I attempted to get my balance, but his arms closed tightly around my body, jerking me to him and trapping my arms down at my sides so I couldn't move.

Struggling against his solid hold on me, I opened my mouth to let out a scream, but he twisted me around and clamped a hand over my mouth so fast that I didn't know what was happening until I was being pulled backward, away from the security of the streetlights that lined the suburban road.

I raised my knee up then brought my foot down hard on the toe of his shoe. He let out a muffled grunt, but continued to drag me into the shadows.

This had to be one of the werewolves. The strength alone told me that. They had to have been watching my house, just waiting for me to leave. This bastard was going to kill me if I didn't do something.

My wolf stirred under my skin. She wanted out and it was the first time since I'd been bitten that I agreed with that plan. With only a little more than human strength and quick reflexes, it wasn't possible for me to handle a grown male werewolf on my own.

My final option, before letting my wolf free, was try to at least injure him. I hoped that would be enough to make him loosen his grip on me enough so I could run. If he gave chase, I would have to concede and let my wolf take over.

Gripping the dagger tighter in my palm, I rotated my wrist and drove the blade into his side as hard as I could. An ear-piercing ululation erupted from his throat and he let go of me. I didn't wait or look back. I ran as fast as my legs would carry me, adrenaline and my wolf giving me the speed and strength to push my muscles past what a human would be able to endure.

"Mena… Mena!" I heard the cry behind me, but my mind wasn't registering anything except panic and the need to get as far away from my attacker as possible. "Mena—wait! It's me…" A strangled groan had me slowing. "…it's… it's Phoenix. I—I'm so sorry, Mena."

I froze, not wanting to look back at the man, terrified that what he'd spoken was true. If it was—if I turned and saw those ice-blue eyes staring back at me, it would destroy any trust I had ever had in him.

"Please, Mena, I never meant to hurt you. I was only trying to scare you so you would realize what a stupid stunt going off on your own to find the killers was. What were you thinking?"

The blood rushed through my veins at an impossible speed, and fury washed over me in waves as I stood there trying to decide whether to walk away or allow my wolf to rip Phoenix's head off. She was all for the second option.

I heard him cough, and then groan in agony. I imagined he was pulling the dagger out of whatever organ I had been lucky enough to hit. There was a lot of heavy, ragged breathing and two more guttural-sounding coughs. It appeared as though I had hit a lung. Too bad it wasn't his heart! I wasn't sure stabbing him in the heart with a silver blade would kill him, but I would have put money on a bet that it would have been a hell of a lot more painful.

I turned my head to glare at him, but the hatred I had expected to feel wasn't there. He had fallen to his knees, and his head was bent, his eyes focused on the bright red stain spreading across his new shirt.

Shaking my head, I looked up to the sky and asked, "Why me?" After receiving no answer, I sighed and began the one-hundred-meter walk back to Phoenix.

Daniil Kozar isn't a man to trifle with, and Elizabeth is forced to strike a deal with the mafia king. Her every action is watched, and she needs to decide how to handle the gun-toting criminal--and his seductive charm.

Daniil may be the devil her father warned about. Or he may be the sensual awakening Elizabeth never knew she needed. Somewhere, Elizabeth's dad is screaming a prayer...

MY REVIEW:

Obsidian Liquor was SCORCHING HOT! This is the kind of book that I enjoy immensely. Sexy bad guy with a seductive charm and a feisty beautiful woman in over her head with said bad boy. I was immediately taken in with Elizabeth Forter and Daniil Kozar. These two are practically irresistible on the pages and I found myself  thoroughly enjoying the banter, the sizzling passion, and the danger that came along with it. Its action-packed and sexy as all get out!

This cover has got to be one of the hottest covers imaginable. A sexy tattooed bad ass crossing his arms and showing just how strong and alpha he really is definitely attracts attention. Especially from us female readers. The way this story was written puts us readers right in the story and makes us not just be on the sidelines, but part of the action that is going on. I LOVE THAT!

This story is truly irresistible and I couldn't think of giving this anything less then a FANTASTIC FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I will be adding Scarlett Dawn on my TO BE BOUGHT list immediately. Bravo Miss Dawn. Bravo.

Shifter: City of Wolves is the first book in a paranormal romance series that features passionate romance, intensely real emotion, supernatural powers, and forbidden shifter love.

MY REVIEW:

This book is different then books I usually read, but it sure was a GOOD kind of different. Shifter City of Wolves, takes readers on a ride that will leave readers anxious, excited, and out of breath as we watch this incredible story of a world that is beyond imagining. Every little detail is perfect. You can almost feel what the characters are feeling almost like YOU are feeling it yourself, from fear, love, passion, anxiety... its an AMAZING thing.

Avery Burch is a talented author. I loved her style of writing. Her characters are truly magnificent. The plot is well developed and will leave readers on the edge of their seats. There is a TON of action going on. There doesn't seem to be a single boring moment. From start to finish it will leave readers biting their nails and leave their hearts pounding. This book almost reminds of of James Paterson's Witch and Wizard series, which I LOVED! And Shifter City of Wolves is another book that I love just as much.

I give this story a FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Its one adventure you won't want to miss. Praise be to Avery Burch!

MY REVIEW:

Silke Ming's newest book, Endless Possibilities, is a fantastic erotic book that I devoured in just a couple of days. I dragged this out for as long as I could because it was SOOOO good. I love menage romances and when I was asked to read and review this book, I was more then happy to do it. I loved how the story escalated. I didn't think it went to fast nor to slow, it was just right. The characters were well developed and the story was fulfilling and sexy as hell!
There is lots of yummy, wicked sex scenes that will have many readers wiggling and squirming, not to mention panting as they watch this sexy trio investigate their love for one another and to explore their sexuality as a menage couple.  I really liked how this story was written and how good it was. Plus I really like knowing with how this ended, there will be another part to this scintillating romance. Skye, Rory, and Charlie are wonderful characters and I am looking forward to seeing Part 2 of  Endless Possibilities.

Endless Possibilities by Silke Ming, gets a FULL FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Its delicious, mouthwatering, and oh SO good! I am excited for Part 2 and am looking forward to seeing what will happen next with these three, especially with the way Part 1 ended.
