MY REVIEW:
***SOME SPOILERS BELOW***
Eryn is Book 2 of Kelsie Belle's delicious White Witch Legacy series. This book is about the second powerful witch princess, Eryn. I think I may have enjoyed this book more then I did the first one, Raven. I loved Ash and Eryn and the story itself. This series is incredibly unique and written to perfection. There is a lot thats goes on in this story. We have some suspense, a smidgen of drama, lots of sexual chemistry, awesome spell-casting and witchcraft, and some very intriguing characters that make this story wonderful.
In Eryn we get to meet one of Raven's sister's who happens to be a very powerful spell-caster. Eryn is however, completely unaware that she is a witch. When Ash first meets Eryn, he started out on lies because he sensed she was unaware of who or what she is and wants some time with her before he has to break the news to her and get her in protection. Things quickly get out of hand when on their date, they get attacked by a demon. When everything is revealed, Eryn is angry and hurt and refuses to let Ash near her for a while. When she finally sees reason, Ash and Eryn experience some of the sweetest and sensual sex one can imagine. Sounds good right?
Eryn was a treat to read about. Not only is she a strong, sexy, independent woman who is probably one of the world's strongest witches, she is protective of her sister and is very passionate about how she feels. Ash is a very fine looking man who has his talents as well. He is a powerful shape-shifter who can take the form of a falcon and is very hard headed and has no problem admitting when he has been an ass. This story is so wonderful. The fact that the sex doesn't happen until a little past the middle of the story, was refreshing and was a nice change of pace. I really liked seeing the story develop before we got to the sex. I know a lot of sex is great when we are talking about erotic romance, but with this particular story, I felt it was a much better read having the sex later in the book then happen at the beginning, especially since they were strangers. Yes, they had some passion filled moments where there was a lot of fondling and coming close to going all the way, but I liked, no LOVED seeing a heroine for once, stand strong and take no shit and put a stop to things before they got out of hand. I just loved this book all together and can't wait for the third book. That's why it was no hardship to give this a FIVE OUT OF FIVE STAR rating! It was a magical, suspenseful, and sexy story with wonderful characters, manly men, and lots of delicious paranormal elements.
