MY REVIEW:

So I absolutely loved the beginning of Touching Deuce. I was instantly enamored of James Deuce MacKade. Even as a teenager he always knew the  lovely, talented Gracie was his mate and he tried to protect her from bullies and nasty people. And that didn't change as they got older, even though he tried waiting patiently for Gracie to realize they were made to be together, she still tried to keep him at arms length. 

I couldn't get through this book fast enough, even though I tried to take my time with it. I freaking LOVED Deuce and Gracie was such a sweetheart! Even though she went through a really tough childhood, I was amazed at how she kept her sweetness as an adult while she continued to use her wonderful gift to sooth animals and children. She was so strong and compassionate and yes, stubborn, that it was very hard not to like her. But nothing, not even her stubbornness could keep Deuce away. In fact I thought I melted in a puddle of goo, as he not only treasures her, but knows how to get dirty in the BEST way to get what he wants...her. This book was sizzling, sexy, and so delicious! The sex was SOOOO. GOOD. I LOVE BDSM play SOOO MUCH, so the fact that I get a good romance as well as some smoking hot kinky sex, made me love the story that much more.

Lynnette Bernard amazes me with her writing. She knows how to weave a good romance with a mixture of suspense, hot sex, and sweetness. I give Touching Deuce a SIZZLING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Touching Deuce is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE so far in this series. If you love a great romance where the man is a true alpha but who is incredibly tender and protective too, Then this book, no this SERIES is it for you!! I totally recommend it.

MY REVIEW:

I. FREAKING. LOVED. THIS. BOOK. As soon as I heard that Miss Rebecca Zanetti was going to be doing a spin-off series from the Dark Protectors featuring the enforcers of the realm, I knew I wanted to get my hands on it as soon as it came out. Imagine my complete surprise and utter delight when I seen it up for request at Netgalley. When I clicked the request button, I honestly didn't think I would get accepted. A few hours later and I was able to download it and I literally jumped up and down for a few minutes before grabbing up my ereader and diving right in.

Let me just say that the moment I started reading, I was instantly captivated with both Alexandra and Kellach. You can feel the pull through the story, between Kellack and Alexandra that was both thrilling and tense, in the most glorious way. I loved Alexandra's fight, spirit, and heart, while Kellach's passion, withcraft, and possessiveness had me melting. When these two get it on in the bedroom, and outside...the bedroom (wink wink) steam practically sizzled off my ereader and had me panting. 

The one thing that always amazes me with Rebecca Zanetti's books, is how she can create a true alpha male that is both arrogant yet protective and caring at the same time. I was drawn to the story with the synopsis itself but it doesn't do the book justice once you start reading. The book was incredibly written with some powerful chemistry and an intriguing storyline. The book blew me out of the water in the VERY BEST WAY! Its breathtaking, sexy, and freaking addicting! I can't get enough and can't wait for Wicked Edge! I give Wicked Ride an OUTSTANDING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Its one wicked ride you DO NOT want to miss! Lovers of Zanetti's Dark Protector Series will NO DOUBT love this spin off just as much if not MORE then the DPs. HIGHLY FREAKING RECOMMENDED!!

ARC Review of John's Vision (Cowboy Mates, Psychic Connections 1) by Lynnette Bernard!!

MY REVIEW:

John's Vision threw me out of the water with how unique yet sweet it was. Lynnette came up with one hell of a unique yet sexy storyline for this series. Its different then her Triad Mates series and its that difference that is both refreshing and welcoming. We still get that paranormal feel, but we also get something a bit more refined and charming. I liked how John had such a unique mixed heritage. The fact he is part Italian and Native American created an almost crystal clear picture of what he looked like, and he was DAMN FINE! But just like with the Triad Mates series that I love, we get that strong connection between the man and woman that is beyond just simple attraction. The fact that there is a pull that is more then just pure lust, is something to be treasured.

I adore how Miss Bernard writes her stories. Her characters feel both alive and real to me. I love John's spirit and Jamie's kind heart and gentle soul. They felt well suited together and once they got together sexually, that connection they share got stronger and more pronounced. John's Vision had a good strong plot that fit the storyline nicely. I liked the writing, characters, passion, and of course, that psychic connection that pulls the characters together. 

I give John's Vision a FOUR SHOOTING STARS! For the first book in this series its damn good and has me craving more. Lynnette Bernard is a talented writer. Make sure to check her and her books out today!

Meeka's Reluctant Mates (Beckett's Wolf Pack, Triad Mates 5) by Lynnette Bernard ARC Review!I

MY REVIEW:

Meeka's Reluctant Mates is the fifth installment to Lynnette Bernard's Beckett's Wolf Pack, Triad Mates series. I have liked all the females so far in this series, except Meeka. She isn't a bad person by any means. In fact, she is sweet and really pretty with a good heart. I just found her to be extremely naive. But after her previous  relationship and with an alpha that was a real jackass, she was a bit standoffish and maybe a bit judgmental of her mates, Reece and Wade. In a way, I really understood why she was that way, but I just wish she was a bit more strong willed. That is one of the reasons why I loved all the females in previous books. I do feel that Meeka was lacking a bit in that area.

Now just because I wasn't fond of Meeka, it doesn't mean I thought this story was bad. It was indeed a really enjoyable read with a different type of storyline compared to previous books in this series. Not to mention two determined and sexy mates who will stop at nothing to prove to Meeka that they are not only perfect for her, but will treat her the way she deserves. I definitely think they did that in the book. 

I give Meeka's Reluctant Mates a NICE THREE AND A HALF STARS! If Meeka had more of a stronger will and was a little less naive, I would of definitely given this book a four stars. I still think that this story was well written with a good plot and two sexy men that were almost irresistible for words. Definitely well worth the read!

Abbey's Protectors (Beckett's WOlf Pack, Triad Mates 4) by Lynnette Bernard ARC Review!

MY REVIEW:

Abbey's Protectors is definitely my favorite book so far in the series. To me, nothing is sexier then a couple of gorgeous men in police uniforms, coming to the rescue. Except maybe a couple of gorgeous officers coming to the rescue of their mate and not realizing it till the moment they catch her scent. I liked Abbey a hell of a lot. The fact that she has this amazing connection to Hunter and Clay even before they meet is astounding. Add in the fact that her daddy's spirit and that of an unknown pretty and trusting woman, telling her to trust in them was beyond magical to me. I loved the gentleness these two officers show their mate and the completeness they seem to have from one look, touch, smell made me completely giddy.

This story was stunning to me. A smart woman escaping from her dangerous partner and making it alive to her destiny with her TRUE mates, who are beyond happy and excited to finally have found their one, made me want to shout for joy and sigh in complete contentment. Out of all the triad couples so far in this series, if I could choose just one couple to be my #1 it would DEFINITELY be Abbey, Hunter and Clay. Their bond to me, felt the strongest and most appealing. The story spoke to me a lot more and if I could give this book a TEN I would do it...in a heartbeat!

Since I am unable to rate this a ten like I want, I am going to give it the next best rating, A SHINNING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Its beautiful, heart-warming and beyond sexy as hell. I love the close bond and the cherished moments that Hunter, Clay, and Abbey seem to have together. The secondary characters are just as appealing and will leave you curious and wanting more. I do advise however, that you read this series IN ORDER! There is no way you can enjoy this series fully without doing that. Everything is connected and continues in previous books, so please read IN ORDER.

MY REVIEW:

Damn, another heart-wrenching and steamy book in Lynnette Bernards Triad Mates Series. Now in the previous book, we got a glimpse of what was going down with Susannah, Drew and Carter. Now things pick up pretty quickly in book 3 and soon we are on a dangerous and sexy journey to rescue Susannah and cub that Carter and Drew created with her. 

With each book, I notice that the love and connection between each triad couple gets more and more intense. I love the fact that there is never a dull or boring moment in the book. I immediately get sucked in Lynnette's books and have some serious issues putting my ereader down once I get started. In Susannah's Saviors, we get some wickedly splendid sex, we go on a rescue  mission, have lots of suspenseful moments, and tons of heart-pounding action. 

Susannah is a VERY strong female while Drew and Carter are some of the most outstanding men yet in the series. I melted over the fact that they absolutely REFUSE to give up on Susannah and are there for her every way a man or men could be for their woman. They fight hard for their beautiful mate and when Susannah gives it her all too, I was awed. I can't believe I missed out on this series for so long. I am now HOOKED on this series thanks to Lynnette's writing, characters, and storylines. I give a FULL FIVE SHOOTING STARS to Susannah's Saviors. Its sweet, sexy, nail-biting, and drenched in passion. 

Gypsy (Sons of Sangue book 3) by Patricia A. Rasey ARC Review!!

MY REVIEW:

So I don't exactly know how I feel about Tamera and Gypsy. In Hawk, I wanted to beat the living crap out of Gypsy and comfort Tamera, but now I think I may want to smack Tamera. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Gypsy's story. I just was surprised the why behind Tamera drinking Gypsy's blood. I knew she wanted him but to be so selfish was just a shocker. However in the end, I do believe she redeemed herself in not only my eyes, but obviously Gypsy's as well. 

I loved the fact that in this story we had one vampire that wanted to rid himself of her, and one that was more then happy to make her his. The fact we have some serious crap going down with another biker gang...a very BAD biker gang, plus a nasty drug cartel, put a whole new dimension on this story. We still got to see some action from Viper's ex, but lets just say, I think everyone will be happy with the outcome of THAT particular piece. We also get some drama and suspense from one of their own. After the way the book ended, I am now curious about Anton even more then I was when I seen what he did for Tamera during her change. 

Even though I was a bit disappointed with Tamera, I was still happy with the story itself. I though it was incredibly written and am looking forward to more from the Sons of Sangue. After the way Gypsy ended, I hope Anton's story is next. I would love to see how things work out with him and his pretty neighbor. Patricia is a true genius and I am sincerely glad I read this series because now I have another great author to add to my MUST READ list! And that is exactly why I gave Gypsy an OUTSTANDING FIVE SHOOTING STARS!
