Shelly's Forbidden Mates (Beckett's Wolf Pack, Triad Mates 6) by Lynnette Bernard ARC Review!

BLURB :

Shelly Brooks-Lancaster has been forbidden to have mates. She has been told often that she is not worthy, not pretty, and not good enough to be part of a mating. The Fates step in and show her that she is not only all of those things, she is needed by the men who are meant to be hers. Her sweet wolves give Shelly the courage to reject her mother’s decree.

Maxwell Oliver and Eli Granger work as enforcers for Alpha Randall. They have known pain and suffering—often taking the cruel and unjust punishments for pack members. They long for a woman to complete their triad, but they knew better than to hope any woman would think them worthy mates. Then they met Shelly. She is goodness and light in their dark world.

Life pulls them apart, but their hearts know what they need. They must hold tightly to each other. A life of love, happiness, and children await them.

MY REVIEW:

Shelly's Forbidden Mates was an emotional yet passionate story about past hurts and forbidden pleasure and happiness that three lost souls find in one another. I found this to be truly beautiful and sad at the same time. I found myself both crying and smiling with the characters and when we get to the passionate sex scenes, I was awed and inspired by the characters as well as the actions that were portrayed.

I am always amazed how previous books as well as present books in Lynnette's Triad Mates series mesh together beautifully to create a wonderful reading experience. I loved Shelly, Maxwell and Eli. These three were all wounded and hurt because of the past and it took finding each other, to help them build a beautiful life together that was comforting, surprising, and touching. This story came together so nicely. We did get a bit of repetitiveness, but it was really worth it in this book because of everything that happened from beginning to end.

FIVE SHOOTING STARS is what I give to Shelly's Forbidden Mates. A book that can make me cry and smile with some laughs thrown in the mix, deserves every star!
