He is urged to volunteer at Kiera's school by Commander Hurt. He connects with a little deaf boy in her class named Frankie.
When danger comes for a student, Coop proves that one a SEAL, always a SEAL...hearing loss be damned.
MY REVIEW:
What a completely fantastic novella right here! Susan Stoker brought a younger/mostly deaf hero with a older heroine to us that left me completely in LOVE more so, with her incredible writing. I don't usually care for a younger hero/older heroine pairing all that well but seriously, Susan Stoker knows how to write a younger hero who is ALL man, sexy, protective, and the most mature hero of all time. Cooper is EXACTLY the type of hero I ADORE. He is gorgeous, kind, sweet, all alpha with a heart of gold that ONLY Susan Stoker can create. Kiera is the exact type of heroine I could picture being best friends with. She is normal but beautiful. She has a normal job with an average body type that seems way more realistic who happens to capture the heart of a true hero. I can't get enough of this type of romance!
I fell instantly in love with this novella the moment I started it. Susan knows how to bring me to my knees with her words, her characters, her irresistibly kind and respectful romances that have just the perfect amount of heat and sweetness. Kiera and Cooper are beautiful together and when we get glimpses of some of my FAVORITE SOP heroes and heroines I smiled from ear to ear and it was hard to contain my excitement and happiness. And the suspense and action..oh yea, its THRILLING!
Protecting Kiera gets a STUNNING AND SWEET FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Susan Stoker gets my full approval EVERY TIME and I love reading her books.
