ARC Review - Outcast A Good Guys Novel 3 by Jamie Schlosser!

BLURB:

KAYLA
My infatuation with Ezra Johnson started how all obsessions begin—with a simple crush. Over the years I silently soaked up every shy smile and random act of kindness, wrestling them away to a secret place in my heart meant for unrequited love.
Because if it wasn’t for the fact that I tutor him once a week, I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t even know I exist.
Then I find his sketchbook.
And it changes everything.

EZRA
There are two certainties in my life: I’ve been in love with Kayla Reynolds since I was fourteen, and I can’t have her.
I’ve spent years settling for a two-dimensional fantasy world, capturing her beauty with a pencil and paper. She’s kind, smart, gorgeous…
And she belongs to someone else.
Or so I thought.
An interesting turn of events makes me realize things aren’t always how they appear on the outside, and now I’ve got my chance to be the man she deserves.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been called a loser. The cripple. An outcast.
But maybe—just maybe—this time the good guy won’t finish last.

MY REVIEW:

YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES! Outcast was and is EVERYTHING I thought it would be and MORE! I knew right away, from the moment Ezra was introduced in the series, that he was going to be wholly different from Travis, Colton, and Jimmy. At first you might think him as crippled or weak, but let me tell you, Ezra wasn't weak or a pushover. He is compassionate, level headed, understanding and kind. I ADORED these things about him. He, in my eyes, defined what a Good Guy is ALL about!

Now Ezra goes through an AMAZING transformation in this book. He started out as shy, sluggish thanks to his leg, a bit more...average looking toward the beginning of the story. Then he goes to a therapeutic camp for the summer and WOW! He comes back, still the shy, sweet man he was before going, but he comes back stronger, more defined and even grows a bit more confidence. I followed this story with ease and utter happiness. I have yet to be led astray with these Good Guys. Each story is more special than the last, but Outcast is the most unique and charming and definitely sweetest of them all! And Kayla..she is THE PERFECT fit for Ezra. She is just as kind, sweet, beautiful, understanding and never gives up on him. This story made me smile, sniffle, had me on the edge sometimes and just warmed me through and through. I LOVED LOVED LOOOOOOOOOOVED IT! One of the Top 10 reads so far of the year!

Outcast gets a BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL AND WILL PUT WARMTH AND HAPPINESS IN YOUR HEART TEN SHOOTING STARS! I can't see myself ever getting tired of Jamie Schlosser's heroes...EVER!
