What a THRILLING duet! Defied is book 2 of Maria Luis's Blood Duet and it starts where book 1 ended. Its super INTENSE, a WILD ride, with some CRAZY TWISTS, lots of surprises, SMOKING HOT chemistry, and a hell of a plot!
I love a good duet. One that can take my breath away, leave me on the edge and give me a WOW experience, especially with a cliffhanger like I got in Sworn. And Defied has secrets that no doubt kept me on my toes, but had my heart thumping MADLY. It was a roller coaster. One I didn't want to get off yet at the same time, the fact that it was such a page-turner was absolutely the BEST! I HAD to know where things were going and the ending...UNFORGETTABLE! Maria Luis did a MARVELOUS job with the Blood Duet and honestly, I would LOOOOVE to see more from her. This dark, twisty, thrilling, SEXY BEYOND WORDS duet has me craving more...like a junkie looking for her next hit, I NEED more and I think Miss Luis can give it to me. Just...WOWZA!
