MY REVIEW:

This is the first book I have read by Kate Baxter AND it is her first book in a brand new series, how AWESOME is THAT? The first thing that caught my attention as I was exploring Netgalley for a book to read and review, was this smoky, sexy cover. The title was the second thing that caught my attention. The moment I seen the word "vampire", I knew it was the book for me. I have always loved paranormal romance and the fact that it had a sexy vampire in it, set the deal for me. And what a great story it was too! It was dark, sexy, intriguing, and sensual all at once.

I really liked the main male character Michael. He went through hell for many centuries and even though he gave up hope of ever finding the one that would tether him to the world, he keeps going, even if it is just barely. That is until he comes across a beautiful thief, Claire. The moment he scents her blood, he knows she is the one for him and he will stop at NOTHING to keep her. This is exactly why I loved the book! Nothing is more tantalizing to me then a sexy vampire finding his one true love and doing whatever it takes to win her heart, trust, and to keep her safe from enemies that will do everything to destroy them.

The Last True Vampire is a heart stopping story full of danger, protective and handsome vampires, a feisty heroine, and sex so hot, it will have your ereader steamy! It will melt your heart and leave you breathless. This book got a FOUR AND A HALF SHOOTING STARS! The story flowed beautifully and will keep you glued to your seat till the very last page.
