RESCUE: COWBOY STYLE by REBECCA ZANETTI

MY REVIEW:
Immediately downloading Lone Wolf, I turned to Rebecca Zanetti's story in the Anthology, Rescue Cowboy Style. Reading this story had me all sorts of excited and eager for a new series. I loved our sexy cowboy hero, Trent and I could really relate to the heroine since she is allllll city girl. This story had so much to love: An irresistible plot and a hero and heroine that had major chemistry with lots of humor and good banter.
These cowboys that were introduced in this story had me intrigued and fascinated and made my heart gallop in excitement. This story had my blood sizzling and had my knees weak and gave me such happiness. I loved how this story came together. It was fast paced, sexy as ever, and was a generally delightful read. I finished this waaaay too fast and am already eager and dying for another one. I haven't read the other two stories yet, but I am definitely going back right now and reading them!

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Susan Stoker comes a new story in her SEAL of Protection: Legacy Series…
Over the years, Storm North has witnessed two teams of Navy SEALs under his command find true love. He doesn’t expect the same for himself. He’s too old. Too jaded. Too set in his ways. Until a woman who’s been right in front of him for years manages to impress Storm in a way very few women—or men—ever have.
Jane Hamilton knows it’s ridiculous to have a crush on the charismatic and handsome commander. She’s the divorced mother of a twenty-six-year-old daughter. Too old for crushes. Too old for a lot of things. There’s no chance she’ll ever catch the eye of a man like Storm North.
Until someone delivers a bomb to the base.
As the civilian contractor in charge of the mail room, Jane finds herself in the direct line of fire, enduring a series of events that leads to a budding relationship with the very man she’s been longing for. She couldn’t be happier, and Storm feels the same.
The only one unhappy, in fact, is the thwarted bomber. Unhappy enough to do something drastic. Now Storm and Jane have to work together to save innocent sailors—and themselves—from an explosive situation threatening their happily ever after.
**Securing Jane is the 7th book in the SEAL of Protection: Legacy Series and a part of the 1001 Dark Nights collection. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.
**Every 1,001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**
MY REVIEW:
What a great book for February! Susan Stoker's Securing Jane made me fall in love all over again with her amazing hero and equally amazing heroine!
Storm and Jane come together thanks to danger that comes calling and the sparks and passion and romance collide together wonderfully with the danger and suspense. It was easy to get lost in this book and after it ended, I felt content and excited. I really adore these older characters. They burn with a stronger passion in my opinion that I find sweet and awe-inspiring. I loved the action and slow burn romance and how this book made me feel. Such a great read!

Excerpt
She was sure Storm had to have a girlfriend, though he wasn’t married, as far as Jane knew. She constantly checked out his left hand for a ring.
On the outside looking in, Storm North was the perfect catch, and she was…simply Jane. Plain Jane, as her ex used to call her. It was a nickname their daughter had picked up and taunted her with for most of her mean teenage years.
Raising Rose by herself hadn’t been a walk in the park. At first, Jake had wanted to co-raise their daughter, but as the years went by, and he moved from one base to another, his trips to see her had become fewer and fewer. It affected Rose greatly. She’d felt abandoned, blaming her mom for the fact that her dad wasn’t around. She’d snuck out of their apartment all the time in high school and graduated by the skin of her teeth.
Jane hadn’t been surprised when she’d moved out on her eighteenth birthday. There were even a few years when Jane thought she’d wake up to a knock on the door from the police, letting her know that Rose was dead of an overdose or because she’d hooked up with the wrong man. But finally, after several painful years for them both, things had at least leveled out when it came to their relationship. She was twenty-six, had a steady boyfriend—who Jane didn’t know at all—and was at least making an effort to be a little nicer. She wasn’t sure what her daughter was doing for a living, but when Rose did reach out, she was no longer begging for money.
It was kind of pathetic that Jane was taking that as a good sign.
In the near decade that she’d been living on her own, Jane had felt as if she’d been learning who she was as a woman.
At first she’d been Jake’s girlfriend. Then his Navy wife. Then she was the woman who’d been dumped and a single mother. She’d struggled for so long and so hard that she still felt as if she was finding herself. Which was somewhat silly after half a century, but there it was. And she wanted to find love again. Find a man who would support her as much as she supported him. Wanted someone to laugh with…and do all the naughty things she’d been fantasizing about for years and years.
But Storm North wasn’t that man.
Jane knew it, but that didn’t mean she could stop fantasizing about him.
Pushing the mail cart down the hallway, Jane felt her heart rate increase as she got closer to Storm’s office. It was silly. Ridiculous. But she felt as if she was in middle school again, about to see the boy she had a massive crush on.
But Storm was no boy, that was for sure.
She entered his administrative assistant’s office and smiled at the man sitting behind the desk.
“Good morning,” she said cheerily.
“Hi, Jane,” the young man replied with a smile. “Go on in. He’s not in a meeting.”
“Thanks,” Jane told him, hoping she didn’t look as excited as she felt. She didn’t get to see Storm every day, since he was a very busy man, and whenever she did, it made her morning.
She debuted her first series in 2014 and quickly followed that up with the SEAL of Protection Series, which solidified her love of writing and creating stories readers can get lost in.

The Fae King's Prize by Jamie Schlosser Cover Reveal!

When I wake up at a female auction in a world I don’t recognize, all I can think about is getting back home to Texas. I want absolutely nothing to do with a realm called Valora, magic, faeries, or being sold to the highest bidder.
But the Day Realm king has other plans.
Zander says I’m his fated mate. I don’t believe him. That doesn’t stop him from tricking me into marrying him, though. It doesn’t matter if I argue or run—he won’t let me go.
I should hate him. Instead, I find myself ridiculously attracted to the stubborn, broody man. Sometimes he terrifies me, so I don’t know why his rare smiles give me warm tingles or why his arms make me feel safe.
Everything about Valora is confusing, but after just a short time here, I realize something—this place is full of dangers that are way more frightening than my new husband, and staying by his side just might be my only option.

ARC Review - Roman Will Fall (Wilde Ways, #11) by Cynthia Eden!

BLURB:
She can’t work with him.
They’ve been partners for less than a week, and Roman Smith (if that even was his real last name!) is already driving Harper Crane absolutely insane. His list of faults is a mile long. Roman is secretive, controlling, and far too sexy. Okay, the sexiness doesn’t matter. It can’t matter. What matters is that Roman never listens to orders, he is far too quiet and intense, and Harper is pretty sure that he is up to some seriously shady side business.
He isn’t supposed to want his new training partner.
Roman has spent his life in the darkness. He is far too well acquainted with evil, and working at Wilde? Well, joining the security and protection firm is supposed to be the first step to turning things around in his world. The first step to becoming someone new. But some habits are hard to shake. And Roman knows that his way too beautiful trainer, Harper, is already suspicious of him. Yeah, so…she is right to be suspicious. Until recently, he has been the bad guy in the story. His list of past deeds could give anyone nightmares. Too bad he only wants to give Harper sweet dreams.
Trouble has followed Roman.
Roman has some unfinished business from his past—in the form of deadly enemies—who have tracked him. And now those enemies have gotten the wrong idea about Harper. (Probably because Roman couldn’t keep his hands off her on a case.) They think she is Roman’s lover. They think they can use her in order to get to him. They are about to make the worst mistake of their lives.
When Roman’s enemies kidnap Harper, he drops the good guy role.
Roman races to rescue her—and they are thrown together in close confines. Intimately close. In order to fight the enemies closing in, Harper and Roman have to trust each other. They have to work together. Stay together. Except the longer they are together, the more Roman realizes just how much he wants the fiery Harper. And soon…Roman can’t imagine his life without her.
Can a reformed bad guy get a chance at happily ever after? Maybe. If things get Wilde enough…
Author’s note: The badder they are, the harder they fall. And Roman is about to fall…HARD. His training partner blindsides him from the very beginning. Bad guys aren’t supposed to believe in love at first sight, and, hell, Roman doesn’t even believe in love at all.
But…then Harper barrels into his life.
When she’s threatened, he will do anything and everything necessary to assure her safety.
And as for Harper, if she gives him the chance, he will prove to her that even bad guys can be good…at least, with the right person.
The Wilde crew is back. Buckle up and get ready for hot times, danger, and a whole lot of surprises.
MY REVIEW:
Just finished Roman Will Fall less than an hour ago and I couldn't wait to sit down to write my review! Roman Will Fall is an excellent, toe-curling, edgy romantic suspense that was loaded with feels and white hot chemistry that made my toes curl in my carpet and had my heart melting with pure joy.
Roman is the kind of bad boy that makes your inner good girl sit up and take notice while Harper is a heroine who is friendly and fierce. And the chemistry between these two is off the charts HOT while the danger surrounding Roman leads to Harper being in danger because of the feelings growing strong and bold and beautiful between them. I was constantly biting my lip, flipping the pages eagerly to see what will happen next. The sex was definitely steamy and the feels had my heart clenching and tears springing to my eyes. This was AWESOME and got me out of the funk I have been living in for a long while now and I am so excited to read the next book by Cynthia Eden. An unputdownable book RIGHT HERE with Roman Will Fall!
This romantic suspense gets a THRILL SEEKING FIVE WHITE HOT STARS!
ARC Review - Saved By The Sea Lord (Lords Of Atlantis #9) by Starla Night!

BLURB:
She made a terrible mistake. One that could end an entire race.
As the program assistant at MerMatch.com, Hazel should be helping her boss find the gorgeous, tattooed, desperately endangered mer warriors their human soul mates. But after another long rant about how easy it should be to stop their stupid undersea war, she’s suddenly in charge of a lot more than filing.
Which is a bit, um, exciting. Her projects tend to fall down around her ears, and if this one collapses, a lot of mermen could die.
Then the warrior in charge of carrying out her grand plan surfaces.
This deadly shark-whispering shifter is off-the-charts hot. But he needs a clever, diplomatic human partner to complete his mission.
There’s only one problem.
It looks like Hazel is his soul mate.
If you like sexy shifter romance, feisty heroines, and wounded heroes with a dark past, this is the book for you. Go on the undersea road trip of your lives in this super fun aquatic adventure! One woman learns just how much she can accomplish when she’s partnered with a warrior who believes.
MY REVIEW:
A spectacularly under the sea written story from one of my favorite authors, Starla Night!
The newest Lords Of Atlantis story kicks off with Hazel and Lotar on a mission to bring cities and their mer warriors to come to the bridge and come together to help bring more brides to more warriors. I fell in love with quiet but fierce Lotar and his warrior ways and Hazel is one of the most lovable heroines I have ever met! She is strong and fun with awesome friends and she has a determination that I find genuinely appealing. Her and Lotar make such a cute couple with each balancing the other out perfectly. I loved seeing the many different warriors from past books and seeing Lotar and Hazel work together and become a stronger and beautiful couple. Starla Night put together an under the sea adventure that spoke right to my very heart! This was the best escape to the start of a semi-crazy beginning to 2021. It kept me warm, bubbly, happy and left me thirsty for more. What a special book!
Saved By The Sea Lord gets a FINTASTIC FIVE SPLASHING STARS! Its an utter delight!
