ALC Review of Blades of Arris: Sithe by Starla Night!

BLURB:

It’s a routine mission. Hunt down the ones who dared – dared – steal our sacred procreation metal from us, the rulers of the empire.

The Arrisans conquered Earth in a day. They smashed into our helpless planet like a wrecking ball, and overnight, everything changed.

That’s what our history books say.

The truth is, I’ve never seen an Arrisan face-to-face. But when my lone medical ship is attacked by ruthless pirates, the nightmare that hunts them down is no hero. Cloaked in assassin’s gray, metal scythes fused to his wrist-bones, he is the grim reaper of the conquerors. The Arrisan elite special forces. A blade.

Luckily for me, he’s in a good mood now that he’s the last man standing in the blood-soaked ruins of my bridge, so he lets me live. After all, I’m just a lesser. Clearly I’m no threat.

Until his body starts reacting to mine…

*** From the author of the Lords of Atlantis and Onyx Dragons comes a dazzling new series full of unique alien shifters, fierce passion, and loyal warriors who find their fated mates in the stars. Each full-length book is a complete romance with an epic happily-ever-after. Claim your conqueror today!

TRIGGER WARNING: coercive situations may disturb readers who enjoy my other enthusiastically consensual series.

MY REVIEW:

I admit I do not listen to a ton of audiobooks. Yet I am REALLY glad I was lucky to snag an ALC of Sithe because it really brought the whole story to satisfying life!

I really liked the narrators for Sithe. I loved that there was more than one; one for Catarine and one for Sithe. Having a dual narration was not only enjoyable but it was easier to get into the story and I found everything going on in the book to be much clearer and sexier and more bold if that is even possible. I honestly loved it and really I am psyched to get the next audiobook! I am thinking I may just have to get this book in both paperback as well as audible too because I loved it so much.

Just going on the narrators and how the story was read, I give this amazing audiobook a SPECTACULAR FIVE OUT OF THIS WORLD STARS!!

ARC Review - Santa's Subpoena (The Anna Albertini Files #4) by Rebecca Zanetti!

Santa's Subpoena (The Anna Albertini Files, #4)

BLURB:

So Much for Peace During the Holidays

Anna Albertini has her hands full during the holiday season. Her boyfriend Aiden is back in town after being undercover across the country for the last three months, and his sudden over-protectiveness is a little too much. In addition, Nonna’s latest matchmaking scheme has been so far thwarted by the two most stubborn candidates alive, and Nonna is out of patience and bringing out the big guns. Anna is forced to both protect her sister and run interference, when she’d like to jump in and find a happily ever after for everyone instead.

To add to her already hectic life, her life-long stalker is about to make a move and doesn’t hide that frightening fact, although Anna is more than ready for him. In fact, she’s willing to draw him out to finally bring him down—regardless of the consequences. Finally, Santa has been arrested and charged for murder, needing a good lawyer. Who would arrest Santa? Anna can’t let this stand. It’s a good thing Christmas is a time of magic and miracles, because she’s going to need one.

MY REVIEW:

Its amazing how much one lawyer can get into a ton of trouble during the holidays! Leave it to Anna Albertini to find trouble and to keep things interesting during Christmas time.

Santa's Subpoena is a fun filled, action packed, swoony romantic suspense that had me feeling 100% happy and craving more Aiden and Anna! Aiden is the perfect hero too. He is the perfect hero to help Anna with all the trouble she seems to find herself in. And what a crazy ride it is too! I really loved the sweet happy ending to Santa's Subpoena that still today, has me feeling all warm and fuzzy as well as knowing that the conclusion to Anna's nightmares finally comes to a close. I can't seem to get enough of these Anna Albertini stories! I love Anna and her personality and her sweet nature and I can't help but to swoon and melt when it comes to Aiden. I also adore Anna's entire family and hope to see some more of them get HEAs too. I can't wait for the next one!

I give Santa's Subpoena a FIVE FESTIVE STARS! It really is SOOOO VERY GOOD!
