About the Author:

The sad truth is that I'm not nearly as entertaining as fiction. *Wink* I am a thirty-seven year old stay at home writer, thanks to my incredibly supportive husband. We've been together for thirteen years and I still love waking up next to that sexy man. We lost our furry child recently, so we are childless at the moment. Our whole world revolved around her. Needless to say, I love animals, especially dogs. Okay, maybe not all animals, I'm not a super big fan of monkeys. Any animal that throws their feces kind of eeks me out. I may, or may not, have a problem with candy. I love any research that leads to Neiman Marcus' online shoe department. Spreadsheets give me way more happiness than they should. I love to read, the dirtier the better. It all started with the naughty historical romances by Judith McNaught that I devoured as a teenager. I love reading about hot, sexy alpha males and heroines that are smart enough to live.

In Full Bloom by Michelle Roth ARC Review

BLURB:

From the moment that Taryn Michaels runs into her new landlord, Evan Connolly, on the stairwell, she is dangerously attracted to him. She's starting her career as a veterinarian at the Los Angeles Zoo and isn't looking for any complications. The more she gets to know him though, the more she realizes that he might be worth the risk.

Evan Connolly has moved back to L.A. to pursue his lifelong passion for growing exotic orchids. When he buys a florist shop, building and all, he gets far more than he bargained for when it comes with a gorgeous, feisty tenant. As the sparks fly between them, he's finding her more and more difficult to resist.

When they finally give into temptation, it quickly develops into something deeper. As the truth of Taryn's past comes back to haunt them, will Evan be able to break down the walls she's built around her heart? Will she let him?

MY REVIEW:

In Full Bloom was a sweet romance. The characters are lifelike, the story itself could easily have happened to an actual person. There was some amusing moments and some touching ones as well. The sex was perfectly erotic and sexy and a bit dirty, just the way I like my romances.  I can honestly say that In Full Bloom was a good read with a thought out plot and was put together nicely.

As I was reading the story I expected Taryn to have a bit more fire to her personality considering the blurb mentioned her feisty-ness. She did have a bit of a spark but I can't really call her feisty. That doesn't mean that the story was lacking though or the character. I did like her and found her to be an excellent heroine. Evan was one mighty fine man too! When I first read the blurb I thought there was no way a male florist could be a sexy dominant strong man. I am happy to say Michelle Roth surprised me but good. Evan was indeed a strong male character who was both sexy AND dominant, especially in the sex scenes. It totally gave me a new perspective on florists who happen to be a man.

I gave In Full Bloom by Michelle Roth a fine FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS! Its a delightfully sexy sweet romance with some great characters and a wonderful theme. The cover matches the story to perfection and I couldn't ask for more.

Blind (Senses Series Book 1) by Xavier Neal ARC Review

BLURB:

Aside from being blind to the fact his best friend, Maxx Hughes, is madly in love with him, Logan 'Unbreakable' Kellar has it made. He's the best amateur fighter at TKO, has a buffet line of women desperate to be taken by him, and three friends that are his family. However, when Maxx crosses over from Logan's blind spot on the side lines to the dead center of his vision, he realizes that he can't stay blind to the fact this girl, is the girl.

MY REVIEW:

Blind was a REALLY good book! I absolutely LOVED Maxx! She has no idea how beautiful she really is. She dresses in what she feels comfortable in and has no problem eating what she wants. I liked her personality and her crush on Logan is totally understandable. I might of had a bit of a crush on him myself. He is after all scrumptious. Now Logan is a very fine male specimen. He himself has  a thing for Maxx but instead of doing something about it, he prefers to sleep with other women. Even though he is a total man slut, I still liked his gorgeousness and his personality. He is kind, generous, and protective toward Maxx. When she gets offered a job at the TKO and gets dressed up, Logan can no longer ignore Maxx and soon passion soars between these two and finally things get heated.

I was captivated with Blind from the beginning. The characters felt real and were downright fun and entertaining to read about. I loved the action, the passion and romance. The cover alone will make you want to drool, but once you dive into Blind, you will be swept away by the story just as I was.

I give Blind by Xavier Neal a FULL FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I absolutely adore Xavier's creativity with Blind and sincerely believe this author has got some great talent. Blind is completely sexy and fun and worth reading.

Claiming Hope (Wolves of River's Bend #2) by Suzette Rose Cauler ARC Review

BLURB:

[Ménage Amour: Erotic Paranormal Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, shape-shifters, HEA]

Hope Davis kicked her scumbag husband to the curb in hopes of starting a new life. Too bad she’s forgotten how to truly live. While on a trip to visit family, she meets brothers Adam and Levi Black, two gods among men, who save her from a vicious attack. Deciding to take a chance after years of playing it safe, Hope indulges in an incredible night of passion with the brothers before the two reveal a terrifying secret. Not only are they both wolf shifters, but she’s their fated mate.

Fate outdid itself when it brought Hope to Adam and Levi. She’s perfect for them, and they’ll do anything to show her what real, lasting love feels like. But life is far from simple in the shifter territory of River’s Bend, and Hope is gun shy. Can they protect her from criminals hunting her and win her heart? Will Hope find the courage to love again?

MY REVIEW:

I was so happy to get another opportunity to read and review for Miss Suzette Rose Cauler. Claiming Hope is the second book of Miss Cauler's Wolves of River's Bend Series and to me, a tad more fulfilling then the first one. I really liked both Adam and Levi Black. They are both extremely patient and sexy, and determined to win Hope and make her theirs. Hope is a wonderful heroine. I like her independent streak. I really understood her more then some characters because like Hope, I am also a introvert. I don't like crowds and find it uncomfortable so it was very easy for me to understand and appreciate Hope in everything she was going through in the story.

The one thing I noticed that was different in this story was both Levi and Adam were on the same page and were pretty in tune with each other as well as with Hope compared to how Luke and Mason were with Nikki in Nikki's Fated.  I really enjoyed that. When I am reading a menage, I prefer the characters to be in tune with each other because to me, the characters could spend more time enjoying each other's company, instead of fighting and just guessing what the others are thinking.

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I absolutely LOOOOVE the town of River's Bend! I think Miss Cauler did a truly phenomenal job at creating a place for shifters that is both welcoming and charming. Every one gets along pretty well and the town is well protected and the women are treasured and loved, especially by their mates. I love the little shops and restaurants. Everyone is comfortable around each other, and there seems to be very little to no animosity in the town, which is something spectacular all on its own.

I give Claiming Hope by Suzette Rose Cauler a VERY FINE FOUR AND A HALF SHOOTING STARS!! Its a very well defined story with lots of ups and downs, with some truly amazing characters and a town where the shifters don't have to be afraid to be themselves. Also, the sex is seriously scorching, and the romance heart-melting and sigh inducing.  If your looking for the perfect paranormal romance with some sexy wolf shifters and a human woman that gets them howling, then Claiming Hope is the book for you!

Havoc (Havoc Series Book 1) by Xavier Neal ARC Review

BLURB:

When Clint "Grim" Walker, started Operation: Save Haven Davenport, the beaten, bruised girl who fell into his life, he had no idea it would turn him into an unbalanced, enraged, insecure idiot.
The mission objectives seemed simple. Make her feel safe in his home. Fail. Protect her from the neighborhood playboy. Fail. Shelter her from the ex girlfriend. Fail. Not fall in love with her. Epic fail. And while Clint could learn to live with those failures, there's one he can't. And that's the objective that matters most. More than his side duties of making amends with his father, more than accepting motherly love from his meddling neighbor, and more than attempting to relate to his brother's in arms off the field. That objective is life or death.

MY REVIEW:

Havoc is one story I enjoyed to the fullest. I am a HUGE fan of a damsel in distress (Haven) and the hero or knight in shinning armor (Grim) who comes to the rescue. I know that this type of story isn't what everyone likes, but for me, I LOVED IT. Of course it might have to do with my own personal fantasies of being rescued by a sexy hero. What woman could deny a sexy hero coming to the aid of a woman in need? Definitely not this girl!  *Wink*

Clint "Grim" Walker is a one bad ass marine who after returning home, has one mission: Protect Haven. The scared and beaten young woman who more or less fell into his life. This is a story that gripped me from the first chapter. I loved the developed story and how the story is through Clint's POV which just added to the story. It was emotional and interesting, and in some moments funny. I laughed and cried and just generally enjoyed Havoc and am so glad I was offered the chance to read and review for Xavier Neal, the very talented author of Havoc.

I gave Havoc a very fine FOUR OUT OF FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Havoc is the kind of story that will grip you from the beginning and hold you tight to the very end. I really think Xavier is a wonderfully talented author who knows how to create an intriguing story with depth and character.

Getting It Right by Saoirse Roghan ARC Review

BLURB:

Discover one path to a happy, and hot, marriage. The one thing Emma June and her husband did without fighting? Sex. Emma hasn’t missed Walker in the ten years he’s been out of her life. Scrambling to make the mortgage payment, putting food in front of her children, saving the planet from paper waste, and feeding the occasional stray animal, Emma doesn’t have time to miss a man in her life.

Walker Northrup found missions with Special Ops to be more peaceful than life with Emma June. Placed on Leave, with direct orders to clean up his personal life, Walker heads back to Wyoming. This story reflects the author's comfort with less than polite language, as well as enjoyment of sex and the heavy hand of the alpha male.

MY REVIEW:

Getting It Right was a truly splendid romance. The story was well developed the sex was HOT without being overly graphic and the romance was sweet and left us readers on where things were with Emma June and Walker Northrup.

In a way, I was quite surprised on how much I actually liked this story. The cover was what had me hesitating at first. Its sweet and slightly seductive with a brightness to it that made me think of soft, sweet, with little heat to the sex. That is not at all what I got when I actually read the story. I really liked both characters, Emma and Walker. When they get back together, you can feel the sexual tension and sparks fly and the passion is strong. The sex is incredibly heated which had me both shivering in delight and sighing yet they were not graphic enough to make it an erotic romance. I thought the story was well written with some fantastic characters and a well developed story line.

This is actually my first time reading a book by Saoirse Roghan but I can assure you it WILL NOT be my last! I am really intrigued with the author and her work and am definitely anticipating her next book. I rate Getting It Right a FOUR AND A HALF SHOOTING STARS! I really liked this book. From the characters, to the sex scenes, to the story line itself. I thought this book was and is one heck of a good read and worth checking out.

Warning: This book is intended for an adult audience. There are dirty talking Guardians with bad language, some violence, and explicit scenes hot enough to give you cat scratch fever.

MY REVIEW:

Ok, I have to start out by saying that Setta Jay did a SUPERB job with Jax's story. Every time Setta has a new book coming out, I swear by all things good in the world, that I go all, "FAN GIRL". There are squeals, lots of happy dancing and some serious, "WOOOHOOOOOING" going on! With Piercing Ecstasy Setta Jay ended up even going a step further in her work and created a book that was SOOOOO GOOD, I am actually having a hard time trying to explain it.

I was beyond ecstatic when I found out that Jax was going to be next to be done in this series. I always had a slight crush on him and I loved his playful side and his healthy sexual appetites. I wondered who is mate would be and how she would act. Would she be tough and dominant like Jax himself? Would she be soft and sweet and submit to him? Or would she be his perfect match and be his equal? I was happy beyond belief to find out she was his equal in both dominance and toughness. I think Jax definitely needed a mate like that plus, the sex was even more combustible because of it.

The one thing I always notice with this series, is Setta Jay's amazing way of telling the story. She also has one incredible imagination and created some truly phenomenal creatures and destinations. I love the names of the different beasts and yes, I even like how truly sadistic Elizabeth is because its not often I find a female that is the main bad guy. Setta Jay created Elizabeth to be the baddest female bad guy I have truly ever read and one where if she was a real person, I would be truly terrified of her.

I was also surprised with the ending. It left me wanting to ask questions and left me totally stunned and wanting....well MORE!!! I don't know if I can stand to wait for the next book. It will no doubt kill me. Ok, maybe it won't actually kill me, but dang! I just may end up stalking Setta Jay more often on FB just to get her to work on the next A Guardian of the Realms story so I can get my hands on it ASAP. Yea, you been warned. *Wink*

I never have any complaints about this series and to me, thats pretty freaking AWESOME! I want SO BAD to give Piercing Ecstasy a TEN STARS, but since that can't happen I will just have to settle with giving this an OUTSTANDING FIVE OUT OF FIVE SHOOTING STARS! If you love erotic paranormal romance with some seriously wickedly sexy guardians, and even more sensual steamy sex, then you will no doubt want to read Piercing Ecstasy. Just make sure to check out  the first four books, including the novella, Hidden Ecstasy to get why I and other readers recommend this series so strongly.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

I'm sort of international in terms of my parents' mixed-nationalities and where I've lived, but I think of myself as British. I spent my childhood in an idyllic Scottish country town. Now I live in Perth, Western Australia.
The idea for SHE came to me at the beginning of this year. I was working on a website as a freelance editor and I saw several posts about writers required for short erotic stories. My curiosity was sparked!!
I wrote the first two pages of SHE and something clicked within me. I knew I wanted to (had to) keep writing it and a plot formed in my mind soon after.
Because this was my first piece of erotic writing I had anticipated that SHE would be a short story, but once these characters got going they could not keep their hands off of each other
Very soon I surpassed the 100k mark and I had so much I still wanted to write, and so decided to cut SHE in Parts 1 & 2.
I published SHE part 1 a few weeks ago (have you got your copy yet?) Part 2 will follow next year.

Finding Holland by Grace Ryles ARC Review

BLURB:

A betrayal six years ago sent Holland Mathers’s world spinning. Forcing her to flee the only place she’d ever known and the only men she’d ever loved. Vowing to move on from the past lands her in a local dungeon being manhandled by her date, Mitchel. The men who come to her rescue are none other than the objects of her desire, the men she thought she’d lost forever.
Adrian Reyes and Oliver Edwards have loved Holland ever since the day they found her on the side of the road. Their relationship lasted only six months, but that was enough for them to spend all of their time searching for her when she fled their small town, without an explanation. Knowing that without her they will never be complete, they are determined to show her that their love can overcome whatever she is hiding from them.
A chance encounter leads them to reuniting again, but things aren’t that simple. Can they find a way back into her heart and bed or will they lose her forever?

MY REVIEW:

Finding Holland is the third book in Grace Ryles's Grand Oak Springs series. I have always enjoyed Miss Grace's books and was more then eager to read and review this one. I loved the fact we got more BDSM in this story. I am a HUGE fan of BDSM and enjoyed the sexy, breath-catching BDSM play in this particular story. Especially since we got some fabulous M/M action that freaking had me panting! No kidding! I LOOOOVE a good erotic story with some M/M loving. I find it just as sexy and hot as a M/F story. Then when a woman is thrown in the mix we have ourselves a seriously HOT HOT HOT story!

I absolutely adored Adrian and Oliver. They are both extremely sexy and caring and just never seem to give up on Holland, no matter how much she tries to push them away. The love they have for each other is beautiful and when Holland is in between them, it becomes erotic and oh so delicious. Now Holland, I can't say I was really fond of this particular heroine. I mean I love her strong independent streak and her craving for Adrian and Oliver, but her reason for leaving them six years before, seemed really silly in my opinion. When I first read the blurb I thought maybe the reason she left was for something big, instead I found out she left for something that didn't seem worth leaving for. If she left because she caught them embracing another woman and she made the wrong assumptions then I could understand. But leaving because she caught them telling each other they loved one another and they didn't say they loved her seemed kind of selfish. Especially since she never tried to find out if they loved her, nor did she ever tell them she loved them. So I do wish the story had a much thicker plot, but I can honestly say, the sex alone made up for that. I loved every single sex scene in the story! Grace Ryles put together an incredible selection of BDSM play that wasn't harsh or scary, but tempting and sensual and so hot I thought my ereader would melt.

Finding Holland wasn't hard for me to rate. Especially with all the juicy sex scenes. That's why I give it a WHOPPING FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS! Even though the story lacked a good strong reasoning behind Holland leaving Adrian and Oliver, it was made up for in the sex, the descriptions, characters, and style of writing. I adore Grand Oaks and am dying for more in the series. If you love menage, BDSM, a place where menage love isn't ridiculed and looked down on, then Grand Oaks is the place to go.
