Undercover Dom by TL Reeve and Indigo Sin

I was SO VERY excited to read this book! So far, I have LOVED anything by T.L. Reeve and Indigo Sin. These incredible authors know how to write a HOT book and make you pant the whole time reading it!
I was giving a free copy of this book for my HONEST Review.

I am TOTALLY in full LUST with Dallas! I loved his strong character and the fact that he was both playful and incredibly alpha as a Dom. Taryn was just a treat as a Submissive. I really liked her smart mouth and her talent for getting herself into trouble.

BLURB:
Murder and mystery shroud Crimson Heat, a secretive BDSM club on the outskirts of Chicago. Given the opportunity to go undercover as a Dom to flush out a killer, officer Dallas Whitten jumps at the chance, not that being a Dom is anything new to him.

Crimson Heat public relations advisor, Taryn Lenox, spends her time coordinating events to bring Dominants and submissives together, while secretly pining for a relationship of her own.

When fate brings them together, a spark beyond anything they ever imagined is ignited, but Dallas' secret and a sinister presence threatens to destroy any chance they may have. Will love conquer all? Or will evil win out in the end?

MY REVIEW:

I enjoyed this story from page one. I knew Undercover Dom was going to be spectacular as soon as I read the blurb and I was in no way disappointed. I give this a Four and a Half Stars out of Five. This was a well written book with lots of stunningly HOT sex and even a bit of fun and playfulness I wasn't expecting. I think the characters were both fun and sexy together. The sex was explosive and I found myself squirming in my favorite reading chair with each encounter between Taryn and Dallas. You can't get much hotter then this! Both T.L. Reeve and Indigo Sin are wonderful authors and know how to work together to create a one-of-a-kind story with so much passion and action that will leave a fan of erotic romance blown away..possibly in more ways then one! I hope for many more books in the Crimson Heat Series and am wondering which delicious Dom will be next to get his book. Mmmmm, the possibilities are endless. Indigo Sin and T.L.Reeve, you guys ROCK!

Righteous Kill by Kerrigan Byrne Review:

WOOHOOO!! Today, I am reviewing a VERY good book by Kerrigan Byrne called, Righteous Kill. The title may sound like a mystery but its a romance! I couldn't freaking believe how absolutely good this book was and I hope you take my review to heart, and try this book out and hopefully, you all will love it as much as I did.

Note: I received a ARC copy of this book for an HONEST review.

BLURB:

"'Tis one thing to be tempted, another thing to fall."~William Shakespeare, Measure for Measure.

He's no stranger to sin...

A prolific serial killer is crucifying and 'baptizing' the working girls of Portland, and FBI Special Agent Luca Ramirez is locked in a desperate race to prevent the next casualty. The game changes when the latest victim is pulled out of the Willamette River alive, and Luca knows this witness may be his key to breaking the case. When the fanatical killer threatens her life a second time, Luca is assigned to protect the most unique and captivating woman he's ever met by going undercover as her lover. He finds himself locked in a relentless game of cat and mouse with an elusive and violent psychopath, while battling his temptation for the alluring woman he's charged to protect with his life. As the fatalities continue to mount, so does the intensity of his desire for a woman who should be forbidden, but is determined to dial up the heat.

International bestselling author Kerrigan Byrne laces dangerous, edgy content with palette-cleansing humor in this sexy, character-driven series debut that will leave you wondering... Is there such a thing as A Righteous Kill?
MY REVIEW:
When I was asked to read this book I was worried that it had more mystery and murder then actual romance. I can honestly say that I have never been more happy to be SO wrong. Even though there was quite a bit of mystery there was just as much romance between the victim, Hero and the sexy FBI agent Luca. Righteous Kill had some surprising humor too. Hero was a such a unique, yet fitting name for such a strong and brave character. Even though she went through something traumatic, it did NOT stop her from trying to live her life with both humor and bravery. When Kerrigan threw Luca in the mix and made him Hero's lover, sparks flew, passion soared, and love blossomed. This was the first book that had me looking out my window wondering if there was a psychopath out my door wanting to torture and kill me and being VERY glad I don't live in the city. I was NOT expecting such a strong plot or such great humor and roaring passion. I can definitely say I will be anticipating the next book in this new series by Kerrigan Byrne. After reading this story, I knew I had to give this a rating it deserved. I gave this a FOUR AND A HALF OUT OF FIVE STARS!! That's right, this book was wonderful and well written. A true masterpiece!

My Demon Determined by Alicia Dawn and Nikita Jakz Review

Today I have the pleasure of reviewing the second book in the My Demon Trilogy by Alicia Dawn and Nikita Jakz. I received an ARC copy of this book for my HONEST and TRUE REVIEW!

BLURB:

“Into the bowels of hell I would follow you.”
“Good because that's exactly where we’re going.”
Never in her wildest nightmares did Seraphina see herself taking refuge in the underworld. Cole, however, should have seen it coming. Sera’s kin would never let her go and that was the one place their holier-than-thou feet couldn’t tread. Unfortunately, residing in a realm where the vilest of depravity thrives only adds to Cole’s problems. Now he must keep Sera safe from not only her kind, but his debauched brethren as well. Even Cole’s demon-half has become more volatile, the constant subjection to evil taking its toll. His world is no place for an angel. He needs to find a solution so he can get her the hell out of there.
And he needs to find it fast.
When the opportunity arises to finally solve their dilemma, he jumps at it with talon-claws swinging. But it’s a dangerous mission - and Sera’s riding shotgun. As deadly adventures unfold and all hope seems lost, Cole is forced to search inside himself. With a soul that’s riddled with more questions than answers, can he find the lifeline they need?

MY REVIEW:

This book was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I was utterly and truly glued to my e-reader as I was reading. There was just as much action, scorching love making scenes, and witty banter between these characters as there was in the first book. Some scenes had me squirming in my seat and panting with excitement. It was just...DECADENT! My Demon Determined  was a thrilling second book in the My Demon Trilogy. I enjoyed reading more about Seraphina and Cole. I got to see the struggles they go through as they find away to be together and escape the clutches of the angels since they want Sera back. Cole was one of those males you read about often: Arrogant, handsome, determined, and downright sexy as..well hell. I give this a Five out of Five Stars! I highly, and I mean HIGHLY recommend you pick this story up along with the first book, My Decadent Demon if you haven't already done so. It's short, but not too short, yet amazingly written with some witty banter and good, strong characters. Alicia and Nikita, I cannot wait to see what you have in store in the third and final installment. WAY TO GO!

MY REVIEW:

I give this a FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS...BIG ONES!! I was absolutely and utterly amazed and pleased with the final installment to the Darklight Series. This book was everything I hoped for and more. I couldn't believe how the story twisted from one reality to the next and almost back again, INCREDIBLE! I think I have an even bigger crush on Jared now then I did before reading this story. He is just...perfect. Him and Lorelei, Brooklyn, Cameron, and Casey aka Glitch, are some downright fun and epic characters that will no doubt end up being the ultimate best characters out there, especially in the YA world. I met some new characters and seen some twists that will leave your jaw hanging open, that left me completely stunned in the BEST way. I want to so bad, to say more about this book, but I just can't be that cruel and giveaway the story, so if you haven't picked this book up what are YOU waiting for? I honestly can say this book ROCKED and I can't believe this is the third and final book in this incredible series. I am dying to know though...what will Darynda Jones come up with next?

Review of Healing a Cowboy's Heart by Sandy Sullivan

Howdy folks! Today I am part of Sandy Sullivan's Healing  A Cowboy's Heart Blog Tour. This is my HONEST AND TRUE REVIEW. We hope you will take the time to check out this review and to follow the rest of the blogs on this awesome Blog Tour.

BLURB:
Jeffery Young is tired of women and their games. His son’s mother did enough damage to his heart to last a lifetime. Now, he had to deal with the architect helping the land developers tear up the local ranches for their houses. Not on his watch.

Terri Kennedy had her own plans. As the architect for a large land development in Bandera Texas, the deal would put her business on the map, but dealing with the stubborn, bullheaded male from the local ranch didn’t come with her job description. Maybe staying on their guest ranch would give her some clues as how to handle Mr. Stubborn Jackass.

Will the secrets she’s harboring keep him from getting close?

Can he learn to trust women again or should be play the game to find out what’s she’s up to?

MY REVIEW:

Healing a Cowboy's Heart is one of the best books I read this year! I give this a EASY FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS! This story had everything. A sexy, stubborn cowboy. A sassy, spirited woman who doesn't know the meaning of give up and a ranch that any person in the world would be glad to call home. I found Jeffery to be the kind of cowboy who I wished I could meet in the real world. He is a VERY loving father, a kind hearted man with shadows on his heart but who is also capable of extreme goodness and can be very pig headed. Now Terri, she is my kind of gal filled with warmth, sassiness, a feisty mouth when you get her going but who is also is very good with children and is just as stubborn as Jeffery, which in my opinion, made them the perfect match. I enjoyed how steamy the sex scenes were and yet how real the whole thing felt to me. It reminded me of how two people in real life would work through a relationship. We know that their are hardships yet moments of utter bliss and as I was reading this book I got to experience it all and that to me, just made this whole book that much more interesting. I can not say enough good things about this book and hope a couple of you lovely peeps would give Sandy Sullivan's Healing a Cowboy's Heart a whirl. I am just about positive you will LOVE IT!

Review of Shiver by Tiffinie Helmer

I received an ARC copy of this book for my honest review.

BLURB:

He’s a wolf without a pack... Graphic novelist, Aidan Harte, writes about the kind of heroes he knows he’ll never be. He’s returned to the forgotten gold mining town of Chatanika, Alaska to scatter his father’s ashes and close out the bastard’s life. He plans to get in and get out  without seeing a soul. That is, until things take a deadly turn.

She’s a raven who’s clipped her wings...

Raven Maiski’s thrilled Old Man Harte is dead. But she’s not happy about the return of his son, Aidan—her soul mate and enemy—who promised never to step foot back in Chatanika. If she doesn't run him out of town fast, he'll uncover what she's hidden from him.

When word of the miser’s death spreads, danger erupts in a hunt for gold
that will either lead to redemption...or blood.

MY REVIEW:

This book deserved a full FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS which I gave this story willingly and happily. I was absolutely AMAZED with this story. It was downright addicting! Shiver was heartfelt, touching, passion filled, and surprisingly amusing, with a touch of murder thrown in the mix. I fell in absolute lust with Aidan and Raven was such a likable person, even if I did want to smack her on the back of her head a few times for being so stubborn and pigheaded. But their son, Fox was such a charmer and a true sweetheart and incredibly wise and brave. Eva and Fiona were two other characters I liked immensely too. They were both sweet, yet sassy spitfires that had no trouble telling it like it is. This story was well-written, with the kind of characters you would like to meet in real life, and a compelling plot that just kept me attached to my Nook for hours. I hope you pick this book up September 9th on the release day. If not, you will miss out on a superb read. This was one emotional rollercoaster ride I'm glad I got on, one I enjoyed greatly. I HIGHLY and I mean HIGHLY recommend this book.

Review of The Guardian's Witch by Ruth A. Casie

I received an ARC copy of this book through Netgalley for my honest review. First off I have to tell you I just LOVE..and I mean LOVE this cover! The colors and hues are stunning. The title is also a favorite of mine. I think the cover goes perfectly with the title and it was the two of these things combined that instantly grabbed my attention.

BLURB:
England, 1290
Lord Alex Stelton can't resist a challenge, especially one with a prize like this: protect a castle on the Scottish border for a year, and it's his. Desperate for land of his own, he'll do anything to win the estate—even enter a proxy marriage to Lady Lisbeth Reynolds, the rumored witch who lives there.
Feared and scorned for her second sight, Lisbeth swore she'd never marry, but she is drawn to the handsome, confident Alex. She sees great love with him but fears what he would think of her gift and her visions of a traitor in their midst.
Despite his own vow never to fall in love, Alex can't get the alluring Lisbeth out of his mind and is driven to protect her when attacks begin on the border. But as her visions of danger intensify, Lisbeth knows it is she who must protect him. Realizing they'll secure their future only by facing the threat together, she must choose between keeping her magic a secret and losing the man she loves.

MY REVIEW:

There are not a ton of historical romances that can capture my attention and keep me locked onto the book without yawning, but this was stunning. I gave this a FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS. A total enjoyable, fun, sigh-worthy romance that kept my eyes glued to my kindle needing to know how the story ended. I really felt that Alex and Lisbeth had the perfect chemistry and just made the whole story incredible. The passion was there, crackling on the pages and I could tell that their love for one another was strong. There was nothing that was left out. It really was the perfect historical romance with just the right amount of everything. I also thought the ending fit nicely with the story and can't think of a better one. A worthy read and one I definitely recommend. Hoping for more from Ruth A. Casie.
