Review of Moon by Laurann Dohner

I am a day late on my review for Moon by the fabulous Laurann Dohner. But thats what happens when one decides to go with her husband to fix his truck at his parents house. Men! They take forever with things. Anywho, today I have the pleasure of reviewing one of my favorite series of ALL time! I fell in love with the incredible New Species Series by Laurann Dohner from book 1, Fury. I was hooked on these gorgeous man-creatures that give a whole new meaning to the words cherish and possessive. These guys sure know how to treat their women and they will protect them with their very lives and heck, they even worship the very ground their mates walk on.

Blurb:

Dr. Joyce Yards has never met anyone as sexy or as irresistible as 466. He refuses to discuss anything except getting her naked beneath him. Their therapy sessions are growing hotter, his raw hunger for her is becoming aggressive, and she is falling for him. Joy knows the dire consequences if she gives in to desire. It will break her heart but she must walk away.

Moon has been drugged. He is feral and dangerous to everyone. The NSO doctors turn to the only female Moon ever cared about the one who left him in the dessert two years ago.

Moon isn't the same male Joy once knew but she is willing to put her life on the line for him. There are no rules now. If sex tames the wild beast and triggers his fractured memories, allowing him moments of lucidity, then Joy will give him her body and her soul. She'll do whatever it takes to save him.

This is the 10th book in the New Species Series and what a great story it was! I have never been disappointed with any of the NS books. I fell for Fury, crushed on Slade, swooned with Valiant, panted with Justice, grew weak-kneed with Brawn, got hot with Wrath, I wanted Tiger, got excited with Obsidian, sighed over Shadow, and now, dreamed constantly of Moon.  I absolutely LOVE how sexy and cute Laurann Dohner made these to die for man-beasts. They are both drool worthy and kind hearted. I thought this was a different but no less special twist on these NS books. I enjoyed seeing how a "feral" NS man acted. I was worried he would harm Joy, but even in his crazy state, he couldn't harm the one woman he sensed was his mate. Joy was so brave to go in with a male that was virtually feral and didn't recognize anyone, including her but she was more then willing to save the one man that had always held her heart. She refused to give up on him and her dedication to save him paid off when he started to come out of the drugs and started to remember bits and pieces of his life before and after his rescue from Mercile. I truly fell hard for Moon and how incredibly protective and caring he was toward Joy even when the drugs kicked in and he forgot who he was. This book got a Five out of Five  Stars with me because of its constant action, touching moments and it even had a touch of humor. If you LOVE books where the males are true alphas with dominant tendencies who growl often and can make you wet with one scorching look, and have the looks of the Beast in the 80's TV show, Beauty and the Beast, then you will fall hard for this scorching series. A total MUST MUST MUST read! I honestly hope this series go on for a VERY long time.
