MY REVIEW:
A STUNNING new book in what I think will be a TERRIFIC new series from TL Reeve AND Michele Ryan! This paranormal romance was exciting, with a sexy, decadent shifter and strong and extremely feisty (loved that about her) heroine. There is delightfully witty banter, a great storyline that was full of danger and adventure and kept me on my toes and just an all around great read!
I have enjoyed all of Miss Reeve's stories in the past, so when I had the opportunity to read this new one, I couldn't wait! Yet, amazingly enough, Miss Reeve outdid herself, in my humble opinion with this new series. Now Michele Ryan is a fairly new to me author but co-writing this with Miss Reeves has now officially put her in my sights and I am going to be checking her out in the VERY near future.
I fell good and hard with Kalkin. Sexy, dominant, caring, and protective he had my heart melting and had me wishing he was real. I found him to be swoon worthy and definitely lick and drool worthy. Keeley is a very strong heroine. She is bold, outspoken, tough as nails, yet there was just something about her I really liked. She seemed abrasive at first but I still liked her. This story was plenty action packed and full of surprises and has me significantly excited for the next book! I am so HOOKED!
