But that’s the thing about being hooked on something so good, and so bad for
you—you don’t walk away when you should.
MY REVIEW:
A romance that has the perfect blend of dark and humorous and outstandingly witty banter! OMG I never thought I would enjoy the crap out of a dark romance...but then again, I NEVER would of imagined that you could blend fun, sassy, and a lot of humor in one either, yet Karla Sorensen and Whitney Barbetti did this book up RIGHT! Very amusing, super sexy, smart, feisty and full of surprising appeal, this is one dark romance I will be more than happy to brag about to my book friends.
Hooked was a general good time..even with the dark tone to it, I still found it to be utterly irresistible. I LOVED LOVED LOVED X and Lucy! These two had freaking chemistry in spades and their passion...HOT HOT HOT! The sex is rough, sexy, and oh so tempting, while the plot thickens WONDERFULLY in just the right place and the banter...my goodness, the banter had me giggling at times and the story had me sitting on the edge.
Since I was completely "HOOKED" on this story, I give this book an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND VERY SURPRISING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I didn't think I could like a dark romance but the humor mixed with this story was a perfect blend.
